Do any of you guys know what street(s) the so-called Chinese stores are in Providence, Rhode Island? I had no luck on the web. I was looking for some boots for the fave.

I'll ask at work tonight, someone's bound to know!
You should browse the Internet, my sister showed me a site (long time ago) that had Chinese women's wear...boutique shops might not be the right place to look because where I live they only carry what sells out (shrewd Asian business acumen.)
A good stateside city to look for mailorder items from would be San Francisco CA, huge Chinese community.
Well, what I wanted to do was just go to a store to get some boots for her. A number of dancers that I used to know used to talk about the Chinese stores to get them. Unfortunately, dancers come and dancers go, and I have lost contact with them. I did find two dancer stores in RI that I will visit this week, but I am still curious.
I could get some on the net, but without being close to the current fave, I was leery of ordering and have them delivered to my address (and no, I'm not married...lol).
If you folks have other stores you go to in Mass or RI to get boots, tell me about them.
I am looking for size 7 white 7-7 1/2 inch spike lace-up thigh-high boots, not sure about platform size.

All I could find out is the store's name is Yung's or Young's and it's a couple streets over from The Satin Doll. Hope this was somewhat helpful...
Thanx, Sirona. I'll check it out!
