Default A gift for my regular

I have a regular who is very good to me. Often we don’t even dance and he pays me by the hour in the club when he brings in his associates, he has given me jewelry, designer purses, a television, a laptop!! He is amazing and not only that, I really like him as a person and I have allot of respect for him. I kinda luv him, he is a great man.

His birthday is coming up and I want to give him something nice. What do you all suggest? He is married, in his 50’s, and probably has everything he wants and needs.

What could a dancer give you to show her gratitude and appreciation as a friend?

I gave a good customer of mine a bottle of cologne. He loved it because it made him think of me every time he put it on. Like a year later, he still says he loves it and wears it (it was Gucci for men, which I thought smelled old-manish, but he was old-manish.)

If it's not enough, maybe a nice robe too?

Do you know any of his hobbies? Maybe a round of golf at a nice golf course, tickets to a local sporting event? If you really want to splurge and KNOW for a fact he's not married, cufflinks!

Thats the thing, he is married and i dont want to set of his wife with something he brings home.. but i really want to give him something somewhat special, he has been so good to me!! Cologne is nice.. do you think that’s cheesy and would that set of alarms to his wife?

His hobbies.. hmm.. well he travels ALLOT. He doesn’t talk much about himself, we usually talk about his travels, the world, yet mostly sexy things, he seems to really like that!

I'd go with a round of golf or sporting tickets. Or, something in that class. While cologne is great, it can set off alarms. People don't deviate. Paranoid wives and husbands pick up on stuff like that. Unless, she doesn't care. In which case, I say go with Issey Miyake. I love that stuff.

It would be cool if you set him up on a sporting day like races, golf, baseball...older guys like that stuff. Get like a VIP box or something with all the fixins and them something else a little more personal.

Maybe if he likes certain things when he travels get something like it and engrave it so that he can carry it everywhere he goes on his travels.

I'm with Jay here. Your time is the most valuable thing you could give him. Anything else will either piss off the wife, be thrown out immediately after leaving the club or just be hidden away, never to be seen or used again.

Most of the gift ideas I am reading would be great for a single or divorced guy. Maybe a separated guy. Not really for a married one, unless his wife knows and likes you too.

If you really want to give him something material, you could give him a nice travel book or something else travel-related. That would be something he could explain easily to the wifey - a coworker gave it to him I'd probably present him with a small gift just before starting a couple freebie bday laps. Custies always like that.

Anything you *GIVE* him you should do as a reminder you gave him, you just have to be tactful enough with the item that you know it wont arouse any suspicion. Get him something he would normally get himself, but put your little twist on it.

The dances are fine. But they aren't special in a strip club. I mean they can be, but a gift is out of the ordinary.

I dunno I may still be too green. I mean even a card with free dance coupons in it hand written would rule

The dances are special in a strip club if they're FREE.

Out of the blue, a dancer last week surprised me with a gift she bought while she was on vacation in SF. I was floored that she would even think of me while on vacation. Needless to say, we did back-to-back VIP sessions that afternoon. Best $10 investment she ever made, I'm sure.

If your customer is financially comfortable as you stated it is the thought behind the gift. A entertainer gave me a CD that is her favorite and she dances too (Maroon 5). I also like the CD and whenever I play it I think of her (fully clothed of course).

It's a fine line. It should be something distinct to you and him so that he gets it's relevence. But it should also be somewhat non-descript so that his wife won't sniff out that it was from anyone suspect and he can keep it around. A nice tie works well. Every time he puts it on, he'll think of you.

I'm in my 50s, and while I would not say I have everything, I'm happy with life as it is. So I'll give this a try.

The simplest gifts I have received have always been the most special. They weren't expensive, they weren't fleeting, and they weren't lap dances.

About four years ago someone special came into my life. On my birthday, she presented me with a key chain. One of those that is sturdy, not the string type. She engraved on it the date that we met. The thing cost, maybe, $15 to $20.

She passed away a couple of years ago, but today I look at that key chain and smile at the memories it brings.

Even though your relationship is more of a business type of relationship, it never hurts to give something that he might look at, and remember. A desk set, a golf shirt, anything that might be used on a daily basis. You might go to a few of the men's gift shops and get a few ideas.

It's kind of like when I used to give my kids money when they were young to buy me a Christmas present. Makes for a nice sentimental moment I supose but I'm not sure it really makes any sense.

A money clip is a nice gift. I've given some of my regs gifts. like shirts and stuff - But the best gift I ever gave to a reg of mine was a money clip that was in the shape of a golf club. He was an avid golfer and it seemed to go over really well.

    Just an idea.

If he has already bought you such gifts, then I would think he is willing to cross a line of trust with his wife, or she is aware and is okay with it. If he does travel alot, and is willing to hid a few little things from his wife, you could always give him a photo album with some special pictures of yourself. Say some of you dancing in the club and some private shots. I soure would remember something like that. You could add them to a travel case to be less suspicious.

Thanks so much everyone, these are some really good suggestion!!

I’m loving the money clip but he uses a wallet so im thinking he might not use it.. what do you gentlemen think of that?

I’m defiantly going to give him an amazing night at the club to say the least.. I just want to give him something more, not for the “material” value, completely sentimental. Maybe I could be wearing a tie, as I dance take it of and blindfold him with it.. when he takes it of give him another gift.. but what? Oh, would it be cool if I got some staff and other girls to come sing happy birthday to him and give him a supper fest dance feeding him strawberries?

Remember, this isn’t about “money”. I really want him to have an incredible evening, he deserves it!!!

World traveller huh...enjoys the finer things in life?

Ok...how about buying him a bottle of outstanding wine in his favourite restaurant in one of the cities he goes to. Pay for it over the phone. Red: a Bordeaux Medoc claret: St Julien or Paulliac apellation (1st - 5th grand crus : whatever you can afford). White: a Burgundy: Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet (same: the crus you can afford). Ask the sommelier.

"t'aint cheap", but an awesome / totally unique gift for a ragged-out traveler! What would be cool is to call him when he's actually in the restaurant on his cell, then ask him to pass his phone to the sommelier, who can make a good suggestion! Too cool...an awesome gift.

another idea for your world traveller...

if he likes / has a classic car, buy him something for that. I guarantee you he has 1,000 things he'd like to improve / do to that car...

BTW--yea for Yea for wanting to do this!

It's not TOO hard for ANY dancer to keep a file on her regulars to be able to give him something when his b'day rolls around--something that any good salesman does for his important customers...

You said he does not use a money clip. I nice wallet would be excellent. That would work for me.
When he comes in, take him for a dance with him knowing there is no charge. My special dancer is out of town and I see her twice a year for about 5 nights each time. I always take my dances in two's, periodically she will not stop when she it worked up and just takes care of me. When this happens I could just hug her to pieces, and it always ends with an excellent kiss.
