Wow, that was so easy to do I haven't a clue why it took me months to get the nerve. I basically walked in, asked for the manager, and he was photocopying my ID and showing me the booths/ CRs in five minutes. The two gentleman in charge just inquired if I had danced before (no), if I could handle getting up on stage (pretty sure), and why I wanted to dance (money!!!). And so tomorrow night I'm on. Gah! I was expecting more info, but stupidly realized all the questions I had while I was driving home.
Sooo...I have all the stuff I need, and I know it's a nude club, but are there set rules as to stage etiquette at clubs> ie- is it up to the dancer how much to show and how fast? I guess I'll figure this stuff out, but I'm just feeling a little in the dark about what exactly they expect from me right away. And the dance booths/'rooms' I saw all had these signs "NO CONTACT". The guy told me "You have to be careful, we can't see contact, but everyone does because people need money. Just *wink* be careful". I realize the whole area I live in has at least light contact lap dances, I know that, but this whole do it, but be secret...urgh. I don't mind, but I wish somehow I had more of a guideline.
I figure I'll wing it, but is it not so kosher to ask other dancers about these things, especially on my first night? I'd hate to be a pest, but other than learning by osmosis I dunno...
