That's because anything smaller than a five doesn't exist in bill form in Canada, and the tipping culture up there has worked itself around that fact. From what I've heard (and someone in the know correct me if I'm wrong), stage tipping period is not the norm up there and I'm not sure that's in Canadian dancers best interests.Originally Posted by Cally
I also remember the proposal to replace American $1 bills with coins wasn't too well received by the local stripper populace as it would have made stage tipping cost prohibitive for most of their customers. If this had gone through, earnings by gals in stage-only or stage-significant clubs would be devestated.

Some of you well to do types need to realize that while your patronage is undoubtedly appreciated, that it is highly exceptional. Most people cannot afford that level of spending, but a lot of them can afford to spend something and we've fortunate here in the US to have a small denomination bill which makes that possible.Originally Posted by The Other Owner
I invite you all to come out here to flyover country and see how the other half lives. Believe it or not, we have a fun SC environment here like anywhere else. The numbers involved are just a bit smaller. Single dollar tips are greatly appreciated on stage as long as the customer isn't being an ass.
