    Default Am I too edgey?

I'd like to ask the custys a question.I've had a few people tell me that I intimidate the custys,my look is too edgey.I'm blonde,5'8,120 lbs.,tall and lean.I smile alot on stage, but I dance very slow and sensual.I really enjoy myself and my music.I'd like to know if custys are intimidated by this?I always thought slow and seductive would make a custy more curious about how nice my private show might be.Am I wrong?
A womens body is a beautiful piece of art.Strip clubs are a dancer's gallery.

Does society ever make you think "What the fuck?"

I perfer a dancer who dances to hard rock. Doesnt matter if she likes it or not.

Music is what will cause someone to look at the stage, which means they look at you, and if you're dancing to Lacuna Coil, and I like Lacuna Coil its definetely a trip to the stage. And if you dance well for a tip I'll ask you to come by after you get off stage.

    Teddibare2,

Could you post a little more info?

Firstly, when you say your look is too edgey, do you mean you are comminicating to potential customers, (rightly or wrongly), that you have issues/problems, etc., that you might visit on them if you have a private dance?

If this is the case, then are you giving custy's, (who've in the main come into the club to be entertained), the feeling that your personal issues/problems are going to intrude into that entertainment?

(I'm not saying you have personal issues/problems, just is that the impression you are conveying to potential customers?)

Secondly, when you say you smile a lot on stage, does this also mean you make a lot of eye contact? Eye contact is a body language type flirtation signal that many of us only are only subsconsciously aware of. Could it be that you are making eye contact with customers in an attempt to convey your "interest" in them, but holding that eye contact for a fraction too long and making them feel uncomfortable?

You might be intending the eye contact to say, "hey, I'm flirting", while the customer is thinking; "Gawd, that dancer is really staring at me!"

Finally, remember the male mindset is different from yours. We're more gonad driven than women. Women do like the indirect, sensual approach - men are more direct and to the point. Are you being slow and seductive, while your fellow dancers are being more blatent in publicising their wares?

    Phil.

This is a tough one without seeing you, but I have never cared much for a dancer who does not at least try to move to the beat. Slow and senual, can also look bored and lazy, but I would guess you are tring to offset that with good eye contact and smiles. Now, if the music is slow and the dance matches the music, that should not be a problem.

Humm, tough call. Intimidated by your height maybe, yeah maybe, but I'm relatively short, and I don't think 5'8" is too much for most guys, then again, you'd be 6' in heels right.

I spoke about this on another thread. I'm an inch shorter than you, so I can imagine what an "amazon" you look like (not really, I'm saying what they say to me). What kind of club is it? Do the girls mostly play rock? Do the custies (my first time using that term) seem to like rock more? I play whatever I like, but I have one customer that loves these 2 specific R&B songs. When he's there and I go on stage, I play them and he tips me $100s on stage instead of $20s and $50s. Of course I dont' mind, since it makes him very happy and in turn he tips me more. Sometimes you have to switch up what you like to win the crowd (I sound like dude from Gladiator). Try wearing lower heels, too. I went from wearing the 8" ones to the 6", and it made a big difference (sometimes men have to be catered to, tu sabes?).
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Do unto others as you would have them do to you...it's less work to be nice than it is to be evil!

"Miss ChiChi, if you was my girl you would never cry from anything...except maybe happiness."

Holy crap, 100's, I'll have to win the lottery to compete with that.
