Default eyeshadow- no creases, no smudges

okay, at work i love to wear dark sexy eyeshadow, usually MAC or Nars. after a couple hours though, i look in the mirror and there are frickin' creases in my eyelids, the shadow is all caked up.

any way to prevent this? like a primer or something? how do you guys keep it looking good all night without reapplying 1000000 times?

there is something from L'Oreal that I jsut bought that's an eye shadow primer called Decrease. It looks like a concealer. You put it on and your eyeshadow stays really perfect.

I also like MAC eyepaints for a primer, but they are kind of expensive for something that's just going to be covered up.

^Emily, does it come in a clear color; or do you have to match your color like concealer?

I wanna try that too. I use MAC pigments at work but they end up wearing off. (A bottle will last for months HA!!!) I want something like that.

The eye paints come in all kinds of colors. I have blank canvas. I use it under my light colors...whites, creams. It's more "flesh tone" so you can use it under any color. If I was going to use it under black, though...it would be more dramatic to use a dark eye paint.

the L'Oreal primer is flesh colored, but I dont' think it's supposed to match your skin tone because it's just a primer. It happens to be a little darker than my skin tone and it's fine. It just takes on the color eyeshadow you put on it.
