Default Requesting a particular song in a SC

I've posted on the blue side about possibly going to LV at the end of the year, and possibly visiting a SC while there...or not as my time and crankiness permit. If I do go to one, what is a fair tip to both the dancer & the dj if you want to hear a particular song? Or isn't that done in LV? Usually everyone expects some kind of gratuity there, so...

I'd request one of the following three songs, but don't know if either of the first two would be acceptable. Not after reading doc_catfish's post in an old thread on Music Mix. The one where he wrote about avoiding songs with serious topics as lyrics.

You can only listen to the song snippets if you're on either DSL or cable modem. All you have to do is click on the speaker icon next to the track. These would be my three top choices, of which I'll choose either one or none

Freedom of speech topic, but would it agitate any LE in a club too much?

    Steve Earle-"F the CC"

This is close to twenty years old but topical today, even if it wasn't one of their better songs. But is this song also too political?

    The Kinks-"A Gallon of Gas"

Is this the best choice of the three, as it applies from both a customer's and a dancer's point of view?

Tina Turner-"Better Be Good to Me" Song snippet isn't Tina, as far as I can tell, but close enough.

If these are too far out of the mainstream I doubt he'd play it no matter what. We were at a club in Miami, they were playing great music, which actually kept us in the club for 2 hours longer and 100 bucks more than we planned. Anyway, we requested 2 songs, he played the first right away and dedicated to me, but said he did not have the other song. About 1/2 hour later he played the other song, which I am thinking he may have downloaded or something. Anyway, I sent my wife over to him with a 5 to say thanks, and he turned it down, said he liked us, and it was cool. WOW! Save those turtles crossing the road, that karma builds up.

Your best bet to get a song that you like played in the club is to tip the DJ when requesting the song. The more obscure the song the more I would tip.
