    Default Closure needed !

I had a friend die the day before yesterday he wasnt my best friend but a good friend . We had a kind of falling out a few months back and have not spoken and I was sure the next conversation would of been followed by a good fight ( guy crap ) I knew that one day we would be communicating friends again but it didnt happen he was 30 yrs old and died of a heart attack at his desk ! I left my job a few months back for fear of this happening to me - its all so bizarre and sad .I am going to his funeral I guess to voice my closure to any ill will towards him - you just never know how things are going to end .

    My condolences.
I believe in the spirit, so my suggestion is to go to the funeral, talk to his family and explain a little about how you feel. Without opening yourself to extortion, you can do things for his loved ones that I am sure he would/'ve appreciate/d. IMHO he would have wished for that, given the situation.
Live your life better in honor of him. (The Grim Reaper has been striking left and right in my circle, so we have all had plenty of opportunties to think about this..... ; ( )

People are more stressed than ever these days. Demanding jobs, demanding lifestyles, the ever-present desire to get the most out of life, and businesses trying to get the most out of us. People who look and feel perfectly healthy have high cholesterol, stress and other problems that can lead to early heart failure.

I'm really sorry to see this, it's always tough to lose a friend

I definitely believe that, even if there is no spirit the living can connect with, it's good for us to do what we can to make things right with the dead. If for nothing else but our own peace of mind. Do whatever it takes to feel better.

I cant believe that ...30? so young.
:hugs: Im so sorry hun....its really hard when people leave your life. After you go to the funeral you should feel better and have some closure. After that time and helping yourself heal through other aspects of your life will help. Ive never had anyone I liked die so I can mostly offer my sorrow for him and you.

We all fight...and the closer we are...it seems the more we will have disagreements. If your friend was a good person, then the fight itself will be unimportant to his soul. Say you are sorry...and assume he says the same...because now if truly the moment that you will both realize that it means very little. Embrace your closure...and do not feel a moment's self-conscience for it. It's okay, man....really.

So sorry to hear of your friend's passing. It is surprising to hear of a heart attack @ a young age, but more & more I seem to hear of it, & even younger. The one place I got laid off from, @ one point the ambulance seemed to be outside every week.

Wish it was all different. I know pain of a loved one all too well, especially when they are too young to go it seems. He may not have been a loved one, but it still hurts.

Wish i could cheer you up.

You see, it could happen to anyone at any time. Even to you.

Maybe that's a reason not to get so angry at people you know, just try to understand them. Everyone is different, and they have a right to be. What if they got hit by a runaway bus just after you take leave of them? Maybe you could handle leaving them, but could they handle leaving you?

As we age, we lose more and more relatives, friends and acquaintences. Wouldn't it be better to lose them when you are not angry at them? And they, you? If we could only all see that, ours would be a little bit better of a life.

I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

Stress is a bitch, I get super stressed out and I have all types of health problems because of it. Thank you for your post, I'm going to print it out to remind myself what can happen if I don't learn to chill out.
