I can give you a customers point of view.

This is a locals type club, even though I live out of town, it's the only club I go too.
Some of the dancers have been there along time (4 to 8 years) and make a nice steady living. It's low key, you can't work the customers too hard, you need to get to know them because they will return. The girls that do good, know alot of people and are very friendly.

Bill is a great night manager, he trys to keep the customers and the girls happy.
Tony runs a tight ship. Does not mean he is bad, but he is in charge.

Good luck and maybe I'll see you the first of November, I'll be there through the 6th on business and spend all my evenings there.

I worked there for a few weeks when I lived in Vegas. One thing is they put you on a schedule, so if your not used to that just be aware. Tipouts were fairly low. Daytime business there is bad, but weeknights and weekends are ok. They offer a free buffet during the afternoon and get alot of dirty cheap cabbies in there for free food, avoid them. As Rick1 said it's definitely more a locals club than tourists. So in order to make decent money I noticed the girls that have been there a while had established regulars there. They also have video poker machines at the bar, and I saw alot of guys that came there for cheap drink specials and to gamble that never bought dances. It's a small club and the set up there is nice, but I thought it could have used more big money custies. I tried it cause I got tired of the big giant clubs and wanted a change. But I think you have better money making opportunities when you deal more with the tourists in Vegas than with the locals, so I went back to the big clubs.
Go and check it out, if you don't like it you can always go to another club. That was one nice thing about Vegas, you can bounce around and find somewhere you like.
In my opinion CH2 has better money potential and less hassle of a schedule. But if you're in the mood for a smaller club go for it.
    Good Luck

Personally, I LOVE Play It Again Sams. It used to be a very nice upscale restaraunt years ago before they turned it into a SC, so there is a full kitchen inside and food is served. I believe they even have a lunch special if that means anything.

Aside from all this though, the GM of the club is Tony (forgot his last name) and he is VERY VERY COOL. He's one of the few decent managers I've run into in this business. Every chance I have to talk to him is a pleasure and he runs the club very well. Coming up soon actually I'm going to be a judge again there for the Ms. Topless Las Vegas contest where we will also be a sponsor of the event.

PIAS is not a big tourist club as has already been mentioned, but they do get a lot of regulars in there who spend more than most guys do at a lot of the local SCs.

Wow 2 dancers wanting to leave Jag/Scores and the business was just starting to pick-up with the Scores name.

I wonder what's really going on. To be honest as a custy, I've thought about switching my home away home in Vegas too.

Jaguars/Scores was completely infested with dancers when I went there. Hot girls were coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches. I didn't see a girl less than a 9, and I'm not even trying to be generous. The hustle was ridiculous and even I would be intimidated to try and work there. Sometimes a nice chill club is the way to go, although the challenge is worth it!

I bet she would do great picking up a few shifts at both places!

Ch2 is very cool. The manager, John, is the best. They are very flexible with hours and let you do your own thing free of hassle. I personally like it a lot.

Play it again Sam's has a very very cool manager. The place is very comfortable and has a strong local following. Ch2 might be better, however, during convention season

Ok boys and girls...........heres the deal with jags...............The management is spending millions of dollars on advertising and the club has to make up for lost revenue....unfortunately that means that the dancers have to pay higher fees, and the customers have to pay a high cover charge and get murdered for drinks that are watered down. When i first started working there, the house fee was as high as 50....... now its up to $70, plus a mandatory $12 dollar tip out to a dj that wont play your type of music unless your a kiss ass. The club also [pays about $40-50 a night to the cabbies.........which means that the club is full of people who dont necessairily have cash oozing form their pockets. The club has changed a lot of rules and girls must wear evening wear and your ass cheeks have to be covered. One night I came in with my usual outfit on and was told i had to go home, or i could pick out a nappy worn dress from a box. by the end of the night i was so frustrated by all of the girls and lack of space that i walked out. It just pisses me off that the dj was making more tips than i was, on top of an hourly wage with benefits. I used to love that club but all the hype is going to turn it into a cespool of girls and money hungry hosts. This is just my opinion but what ever happened to going to a titty bar to just have a good time, and see tits and ass????? Working at an overcrowded stuffy gown club was never my thing..........I love to express myself through my costumes and pole work. Since i cant do either at jags/scores any more i decided to quit. The way management treats girls has gone down hill and one of my very good friends was put on suspension because in dennis's opinion she had to lose 30 lbs. The club is going to be beautiful and im sure that many girls will leave for the same reasons i did, so if you like working at a gown club hang in there and see how it goes for a while.
Thank you to everyone who has replied about play it again Sam!!! Dancerwealth was right....the management is a pleasure to work with (both bill and tony.) Honestly when i pulled up to the club i was expecting it to be a cokehouse. Whan i walked inside i was immediately greeted by bill who took time out of his schedule to talk to me. He treated me like a human being, (not a dime a dozen stripper)and gave me a tour and personally introduced me to te bartenders, dj s and the night manager. I was treated with respect by not only the management, but the girls and customers were all very respectful. I didnt think this existed in vegas lol!! This club is very modest but it does have great potential. It is a different hustle and you do have to spend more time talking with custys, but it was refreshing to have an actual converstaion with someone, not just telling the custy what they want to hear just to get that $20. Stage tips are great and just about every time i went up i got a $20 from someone. The girls are not the superficial catty bitches ive seen every where else , just girls like me trying to make an honest living. Im sure there are some bad seeds in there but i didnt see any extras going on when i was there. The only crappy part about this club is that the vip is 30 minutes for $100 and the house keeps $20. But, unlike other clubs that charge up to a $200 bar tab for 30 min, they provide a bottle of champagne to every vip custy for free. It has been a struggle for me to find my niche amist all these "superclubs" in vegas, but i think i finally found it at sams!!!!I know that once i build up a clientele that the possibilities are endless, and Ill keep my sanity in the process!!! I met one custy last night named jeff, who got a couple of drinks with me, got a dance and paid me $20 for the dance and tipped me $100!!!!! I have never had a more pleasurable time talking with customers than at this club!!!!! Thank you play it again Sam for making me feel very much appreciated, and for making a titty bar what it should be.......a relaxing environment with food, girls and beers lol!!!!!!!

I knew that would happen to Jags/Scores.....the hype will die down after a while. It's not always about bigger and more expensive = better. But unfortunately alot of Vegas investors think that way.
Glad to hear you liked Play It Again Sam's and good luck there, sometimes a change of environment can do wonders...

Hmmm as a custy that's been going to Jags since it opened, I think Vegasgirl hit everything on the nail in regards to the new club. I got that sense when I was there a few weeks ago.

I agree with Former that the Scores novelty will wear off fast and the girls will get tired of the 100-150 girls on shift b.s.

    Vegasgirl,

The main point of the pm was; when I show up, I will not know the name you dance under.

You [email protected], there are 3 dancers I know of that have been there along time and do well (there may be others I just have not met). They each are very unique and I will not mention their names here. I think they are all around 35 and the

1st. is the slowest most sensual dancer i've ever watched, even if the music is fast. IMO a true artist.

2nd. is the most flexable. I think she can do the complete splits standing on one foot and put her knee to her forehead, among many other things.

3rd is the most wonderful girl i've ever met. She literally could get me to move there. Nough said.

If you figure out who they are you can pm me if you'd like. Please don't post their names here.

    Rick

PS, PM = work away from home? I don't get it, but o'well. I hope you do excellent there!

I know the 2nd girl your talking about and she has been soooo helpful!! I dance by the name carly at sams....used to go by toni but that would be confusing to the manager tony and myself.........

I come on to sw to write and remain somewhat anononymous........ dont give out personal phone numbers or email addys to any custy ..........i know you just want to write to me too, but if i give you a private msg it takes it to a more personal level , which i am not comfortable with........

But ill definately be glad to light my nipple on fire with a match when u come in rick......my favortie little trick lol!!!!

The other issue about Scores/Jaguars is that they are in a jinxed property. Their physical location is good, but it is extremely difficult to get into as they are the entrance to the Desert Inn Arterial so you can only get to the club from one direction easily and if you miss the turn, you're then winding up at Rhino which is the next exit.

Jags has been bought and sold so many times in the last few years I lost count. First the Gallardi's, then there were these two cops who bought and sold it, then some new owners, now Scores. This is all in just the last 18 months mind you. I think the only thing that's going to save that club is the Scores branding, but even at that, it's going to be a bunch of hype in the beginning and then it will fizzle. The other clubs are already preparing for it too. Treasures is now paying the cabbies $100.00 per drop...that's unheard of, even for Vegas. Competition with these big clubs is getting fierce.

When you oversaturate an area with big mega clubs like that, even in a tourist based city like Vegas, they can't all survive and won't. Club owners/investors are shooting themselves in the foot. There is just not enough tourist/local dollars to support THAT MANY clubs and girls. Only the strong will survive who play the game right. Play It Again Sams knows how to cater to the locals and tourists and does it somewhat right, and they are doing decent. CH2 has a reputation and is still a popular with the custies after all they've been through. OG's is getting run down, but still they have that older Vegas hot spot reputation that guys wanna say "hey I went to OG's in Vegas". Spearmint Rhino has really taken off.....I watched Jaguars being built, and I always thought it would crumble. And yeah, their location blows. That is a horrible intersection to be located on. Treasures location is an odd one too. Not that easy for someone to find on their own if they are a visitor.
vegasgirl702 enjoy your time in Vegas dancing and profit well...

That's an abolutely great observation about the road. Basically you have to come in from Valley View or Spring Mountain on the back side. Even though I've been there over a dozen times, sometimes I still end up on the wrong side of Desert Inn Road and end up all the way at the Convention Center before I can turn back.

I'm not so sure I buy this. They've been saying those exact words about vegas for over 30 years now. As a Vegas native, I've heard it all. I remember when they were building the Excalibur and all of the "experts" were on the local news for months talking about how Vegas could never support a 4000 room hotel. How the town was going to oversaturate itself soon with resorts and Vegas was in for an implosion real soon. Then they said the same exact thing about the MGM Grand, the Mirage, Mandalay Bay, etc. etc. etc. Meanwhile these resorts are filled to capacity 90% of the time and are making money hand over fist. The same thing goes for the SCs. The articles about them was just the same. When Jags opened, nobody could believe that such a big club could sustain itself. It's having difficulty but for other reasons, not because it's big. Then they said the same thing about all of the other clubs, one after another, who all have guys packed into them every night where the owners are making a fortune. I was just in Spearmint Rhino last night, and on a monday at 2AM that place was packed. Cheetahs...packed. Even GLITTER GULCH last night was busy. So when I hear Vegas doesn't have room for any more clubs, I just have to laught the same way I did when they said there was no way for the Mirage to be profitable.

    VegasGirl,

I believe Miss F. would help you out. She is a wonderful person, I always take time to say hi and see how she is when I'm there.

I'm usually in Vegas twice a year on business for about 5 or 6 nights each trip. I mostly spend my evenings there since I found the place about 5 years ago. I noticed the girls can have a big night, but usually not. They can have a bad night. In the long run they make a solid living, and can easily have a nice time doing it (even though it's a job). IMO the hussle has to be handled carefully since it's mainly a locals bar.

One of the dancers I know always takes the time after her set to thank to each person personally that tipped her on stage. I think this is a class act and it works for her.

I will be there Nov. 1st. and will say hi if you're there.

    Good luck again,

    Rick
