    Default I was mystery shopped!!

If this doesn't beat all, the manager of my club paid a guy to come in to mystery shop the dancers to make sure no one was doing extras, and that the girls were hustling "properly".

I got a very positive review, but many of the girls were kinda rude to the guy and got in trouble. One girl tried to solicit sex for money and was fired on the spot.

So my question is how does one land a job as a lap dance mystery shopper anyway? And is the pay pretty good or do people do it just for the perks?

Just thought I'd share as I found this pretty funny!

I've heard of this Paris, but quite honestly, I never really paid much attention to it actually being something that is actually done.. was it a friend of the manager?

The tired old line that says "It's a tough job, but SOMEBODY'S gotta do it!" seems applicable here.

I would kill for that job! What a way to earn a living. Just think I'm at some boring dinner party and the inevitable question comes up "So what career are you in?". "Oh nothing too exciting, just a quality control engineer..."

    thats cool!!

our club has dancers pretty much police that kind of thing tho, so we dont have the nasty extra trype girls working there long before other dancers find out and take things into their own hands

Actually, the old adage says 'It's a DIRTY job, but somebody's gotta do it!" ... which seems particularly appropriate in this case.

Hmm...I bet tons of people would LOVE to have a job like that. I wonder what credentials one would be required to have for such a position? Ha!

They have 'Mystery Shoppers' at my last club - it's usually a regular who gets asked by the management.

Yeah, I pulled a gig like that about 5-6 years ago. It was a one-time deal.

A friend of a friend came over and discussed the "job" with me and gave me $500. We went in during a weekday, I think it was a Thursday and spent the $500 and then reported back as to what "services" were being offered by which girls.

I was very fair, in that the questions were the same to each girl and I was just to make note of the attitude of each girl and the answers to each question.

Of course as part of the job I had to sit through 12 separate dances! That was the hard part of the job but somebody had to do it!

The club is still around, so I won't mention its name, but it was non-alcoholic and is located in western Canada in an old movie theatre.

Many bars do this to check up on the employees. They are called spotters and usually hired to check up on if bartenders and waitstaff giving away free booze in exchange for tips.

I wouldn't mind the hard part of the job, especially if someone else paid the dancer tab. Just need a memory, some extra time, and the connections.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

I imagine the difficult part of the job is finding a trustworthy "Mystery Shopper" - because many of the men who would volunteer for the position would be awfully tempted to overlook extras in return for more extras.

All I can say is good.

I can't stand the girls that do that shit. It's sick and self-defeating.

And for Christ's sake, most of us do pretty well, why would you need to stoop that low? There's plenty of business to make without getting nasty.
