Ummm, they call in the patrol car 100 feet down the road to pull you over. Shit, by my club, there is an officer ON FOOT with his radar ready to CB his partner hiding in the bushes on his motorcycle a few blocks away to bust your ass!
Less gas to be guzzled. Nice refinery shot though. The photo must be from scenic, lovey, and fresh-smelling east Houston.

Will double-check next time go by, but am pretty sure that's the Chevron Cedar Bayou Petrochem Plant on north side of I-10 in Mont Belview, about 20 miles east of Houston. Are two large and 3-4 smaller plants directly adjacent to one another - all sitting on top of a massive natural gas storage facility (salt dome). Is part of reason east side of Houston sometimes smells so wonderful for such an incredible distance while driving through on I-10: couple dozen refineries behind you and another couple 20 miles in front of you!Originally Posted by Katrine

Now that you mention it, I have to agree. It used to be the Gulf Oil Cedar Bayou Olefins Plant before Chevron bought it.

Ugh. I hate driving thru TX on road trips. Speed limit is 75 coming thru OK, and drops to 70 in TX. Of course there are no speed limit signs along the highway for several miles acroos the TX state line - but you damn well bet your ass there's a highway patrol car just across the line waiting to catch unsuspecting travelersfuckers

Yeah....I always wanted to be a State Trooper in Texas, but they found out my parents were married and wouldn't let me in.Originally Posted by Bridgette
