    Default summer slump?

I've only been dancing for a little over a month now. I work the day shift at a bikini bar in a city with tons of nude clubs and I fully understand that I normally won't make 300 a day, which is fine with me. Lately though I've had a few 30-100 dollar days. Also, I don't have any "regulars" yet, which most of the girls seem to have. I've heard the girls I work with talk very frequently recently about how their money is sucking right now because it's summer, and they tell me this happens every year around this time and that it will pick up in another month or two. Do you all think this is true? If so, what is it about the summer time that keeps people from going to the clubs?

Lazy dog days of summer, people on vacation, people are off work and back from school and spending time with their families... finding that summer fling. I've heard that summers are super slow. I haven't noticed a problem... but that could be cuz I'm in San Diego and there are (WAYY TOO MANY) tourists here right now.

Yes it's true. Summer is family vacation time, so hot that many people don't want to be out (or they're out at the lake/beach), getting ready for back to school (parents buying school clothes, supplies, tuition), and recovery from taxes time for custies with money. Business traditionally sucks for strippers in summer. It's the same every year. We suffer in summer to ride high in winter

    Hang in there Pretty Penny-
It really should start getting better in a month or so. Of course, this always depends on your location. Usually summer is a family season, fall is the work season-
The fall is the start of when the kids are back in school and businesses get more serious. Plus, there are MANY fundraisers going on in the fall, as well as holiday parties. This means people are spending money-
So, keep a great attitude and be nice to everyone, you never know who is going to be your regular-
