    What do you think?

    "Playground Love" - Air
"I Am Trying to Break Your Heart" - Wilco
"Take Another Piece of My Heart" - Janis Joplin

Stick with "Sexy Boy" and "Heavy Metal Drummer" (or "I'm the Man Who Loves You") from the first two. The Joplin is cool; I've heard it at work many times.

I'm only just able to listen to "Piece of My Heart" again. It describes in perfect detail the EXACT relationship I had with the guy who just broke up with me, and on his birthday a few months back I got wasted and sang it at his karaoke party. I had a drink in hand and was doing my best Janis impression. It was funny but I'm still a little embarrassed thinking about it!

Just listening to it today though and it seems to have a good rhythm for stripping to. You think the other two are too depressing though, huh? I never heard the ones you mentioned. Who are they by?

Duh! I just realised what song you meant with "Heavy Metal Drummer." I have that song and I love it. You think it would be a good strip song? I can sort of see that, though I never tried dancing to it...

Don't know "Sexy Boy" though. Is that Air or Wilco?

You think it would be a good set with the other two though, or is it too sad a mix with them all together? Maybe I should end on something more upbeat...

    ACK!!!!!!!!!!

    Just my 2 peso's..........

who cares if its depressing to the custies, you dont want it because its depressing to YOU!!!!!!

Dance to music that makes you happy now,not reflect on relationships of the past.

Ifn I was your dj,I wouldnt play it for you,I wouldnt even play it for someone else if you were in the building.

Sorry Yek,im afraid you cant dance to that song for a year at least(maybe forever),or work with another dj who might not care if you fuck up your own hustle sub con-shus-ly<sp>(ok i didnt even try to spell that one,but you get the point).

Even if you two get back together, you cant dance to that song without it effecting your hustle for the reasons you just said.

LOL, good point! It's a great song and doesn't make me depressed. I just get an embarrassed giggle when I picture myself, vodka in hand, belting it out like Janis. I sing even worse than her and I was just as drunk. Too bad I wasn't drinking SoCo!

I was at a BBQ about a month after that and one of his friends introduced me to some new people as, "This is K's girlfriend Yekhefah; she does a great Janis Joplin impression." <blush>

Anyway, yeah, you raise a good point. Thanks.

Girl don't do it! Of all the things an ex should NOT rob you of, your money is the first thing to cling to......the EX is not paying your bills....don't sabotage your stage show/ income just to laugh at yourself...play it at home, get drunk and dance around the living room.

I've been tempted to dance to certain songs after a breakup or nasty fight... Don't do it! You don't want to depress the place... But I always figured there were custys there to escape a recent fight or breakup, and don't want to be reminded of it. Yea, but I know it's tempting, lol.
