    Default South American Plastic Surgeons

I heard the best work is done in Colombia and that every woman there is a complete #10.

I'd like to get my boobs replaced with silicone but IDK, i'm a little hesitant on getting work done in a foreign country. But South American girls bodies' are an absolute work of art.

They have stricter laws when it comes to plastic surgery there than we do here. The only suggestion I would make is that you stay for a week or so before you fly back. That way they can monitor you for infections or any kind of complications.

Brazil. Go to Brazil if you're gonna go out of the country. Apparenly Brazilians are MORE into their plastic surgery than Americans, and they have an excellent reputation as far as docs go. If I were gonna go anywhere outside the US, I'd go there.

Bridgette, I agree. It's either there or Colombia. My sister in law is from Brazil & recently she went on vacation to Colombia. And before she went, her Colombian friend told her all about the surgery over there & how rediculously beautiful women are over there (even in their 60's). My sis in law thought she was just talking highly of her own country, bragging a little. But when she went she told me that she was absolutely right & felt busted over there, lol. That everyone was a walking perfection.

She also found out that Colombian surgeons take out the highest percent of fat when they do lipo work.

I saw her friend's body & it looks so damn flawless. She had lipo and a tummy tuck.

Which country are you talking about?

Oh yeah, my brother has family(his father side) in Colombia & my sister in law has family in Brazil. So if I pick either country I have a place to stay. And yes, a week or two.

Ruth Graf is a famous plastic surgeon in Brazil. She has invented many procedures that are now become standard...subfascial breast augmentation, for example:

9 in 10 Brazilians undergo a cosmetic procedure in their lifetime. So if you compete with gorgeous Brazilian dancers, don't knock yourself...chances are, their looks are store-bought

I was talking about South American countries in general. Mexico, even... We here in (North) America seem to think we corner the market on everything. We don't.

    Cost.

However, we've had one member who went to Thailand for her breast augmentation with disastrous results. Let's keep in mind you may save money for the surgical procedure, but should there be complications you will end up spending much more time, money, and pain in the long term.

That was mainly due to her not following the doctors orders and staying off her feet.

The only downside to having the procedure done out of the country is that if you have complications anywhere down the line (bottoming out or late term infection, etc) you will have to either pay out the nose for a doc here to remove and redo (they'll never fix another doctors work) or come up, quickly, with more money to fly back to the original country and have them fix you up.

I would suggest putting aside enough money to pay for the procedure, flight, and stay...and making sure you have enough money in reserves to go back should you need to. If you never need to go back, invest the money in something else. But, at least you'll have the money if you need it.

Funny my mother was just talking about this today - she is an RN and she said that Thialand had many good deals - they have complete packages that cover the vacation surgery everything . It sounded like a good plan shit can happen anywhere I guess and yes out of the country probably comes with some risk involved - and I imagine if you dig hard enough you will find that everywhere probaly had some kind of dissasater at one time or another . Take a look at this

Smoking adds to the hazards of major surgery. The American Society of Anesthesiologists showed that people who smoked within 24 hours of receiving general anesthesia were 20 times more likely to have inadequate oxygen delivery to their hearts during the operations, putting them at risk for myocardial ischemia. Smoking also hinders the ability of the heart and lungs to recover quickly from the effects of surgery. Studies confirm an increased rate of postoperative heart complications in smokers, including abnormal blood pressures, irregular heartbeats and decreased blood flow that can lead to a heart attack.
