    Default New Girl =)

Hello ladies! I am sooo glad that I found this site! I guess its bound to happen when you can't sleep and stay on the computer for about 9 hours...lol. Anyway, I have already received the answer to so many questions I have had just by reading through the posts on the site. I think the most encouraging thing of all is reading posts from other girls who are new and feeling exactly the same way I do...and also how sweet, helpful, and encouraging the more experienced girls are!
Anyway, I am a full time student and I have an ok job, but I'm bored. I am moving down to San Diego to live with my boyfriend and I was thinking about getting a job as a cocktail waitress or something. So I applied and sent pictures to a private club, and when they said they were interested I was like, "What? Oh my gosh, maybe I don't have to be a Barbie to do this!" Then to my complete surprise my bf called me one day and said he has a friend at work whose wife is a stripper and he told my bf that its not that bad once you suck up the jealousy. I immediately started researching, because I have always been curious about stripping. In my friend eyes I'm the least likely to do something like this...which is probably why I am curious about it. I've always been a good girl, but I have a sexual side that pretty much only my bf knows. Anyway, I have been performing my whole life. Cheerleading, dancing, singing, acting...I love being in front of people. I am much, much better with crowds than just a few people! So I am not worried so much about the audition or the stage dancing...I know I will be nervous and awkward at first but I will get better just by observing others. I am a very quick learner. The thing is I am just not a hustler...lol. I am usualy nice, and friendly, and passive...sometimes I even come across as naive or timid. You would never guess that on stage but one-on-one is a different story. I am am not afraid of lap dances...I am afraid of asking people if they would like one! This is pretty much the only thing that keeps me apprehensive. Well that and wanting to tone up a little more before I start showing off my body...lol. I think pretty much every girl feels that way, though. Do you think that it is better to call and ask about auditions or to go and ask in person? Just curious. Anyway, I think I have written quite too much as it is, so I will go now. Hope ya'll have a great day!
    XOXO,
    *Naomi

I am also a graduate student, and have a full time job. Dancing is fun, and it lets you be something that your not. None of my friends know about my part time job, they don't need to. It is great money, way better than waitressing. The thing about selling dances is just to be yourself. Guys enjoy talking to you, you are what they are coming to see. If your read posts on this site, many discourage asking a guy "wanna dance" talk, and if nothing happens after 10 minutes move on, your will know if the guy is interested in a dance. Trust yourself, and be confident!

Ok that makes sense! Maybe I am just being a worrier. I never, ever have a problem talking to men in every day settings. I am a confident girl. I can walk up to any guy in a bar and have a full and interesting conversation...unless he's too drunk, or a perv, etc. I also can keep a guy's attention, because I am flirty...but not too over the top to where it seems desperate. I don't know why I think it would be any different for me just because it was part of my job. I guess just because I would be out of my element...and its new and unknown territory...so I'm just a little nervous.
    XOXO,

OMG! My first day, I wanted to run out the door, I was soooooo nervous, I had a shot to calm my nerves! Once I got on stgage, I felt sexy, and all eyes where on me. It was so fun, and a rush. I am not the forward type to just approach guys. I just talked to them. One good thing is that a am a huge baseball/football fans, instant conversation! Guys loved that I knew what I was talking about. All guys love to talk about sports. You will be fine, you sound confident. Some guys may even ask you for a dance. When your on stage make a lot of eye contact. I had guys come up to me. I never uttered the words "wanna dance!"Hope this helps.

I think you should go in and apply in person....if you call first (from my experiance) they always say come in and fill out an application and audition...as for asking for a dance ..it gets easier and just don;t get discourage..no's do happen and if they say no you may not be what flavor they want at the time ..that does not mean the next guy will say no.. most likely he will say yes... besides if that is your pic .. your cute, and sexy..and you should go for it.. I was the same as you all my friends say the same things about me (dancing is out of your character) well maybe so but when I dance i am not myself...I get to be who ever I want to be that night. "sometimes I even come across as naive or timid" some guys like that..and I am sure you are not really as naive and timid as some may think ...you could use that and make money..just be careful and don't let someone make feel naive and timied for real..It's a job and you could do well in it...watch , learn and read here all you can so you will be perpared for almost anything..well good luck!!
