Just wondering what everyone is currently playing/attention is being focused on.
Right now I'm playing Max Payne again. Very cool game. Probably end up buying Geist within the next week, or I may go out cheap and buy Max Payne 2 for PC.

I've given up on PC gaming. I upgraded my rig to an Athlon 2500+ with a GeForce 5900 and 1 GB of RAM about a year and a half ago, and I'm finding it's already having trouble with the new crop of games. I tried the Battlefield 2 demo and it brought my system to it's knees. Getting tired of shelling out $500 every year for upgrades has sent me back to the consoles.
My Gamecube mostly gathers dust unless my daughter comes over and plays Mario Party or Spongebob. I played the hell out of Grand Theft Auto during June and July. Right now I'm playing Ghost Recon: Summit Strike on the Xbox. I also go back for the occasional game of Halo or Star Wars Battlefront.
Right now, The Incredible Hulk looks pretty fun. Star Wars Battlefront II comes out in November. There are quite a few I'd like to try. I should start renting from something like Gamefly.

ive just been playing true crimes of streets of la something like that and GTA vice city, and demon my cry something like thing for got what it was called.

Out of all things...Mox and I have been stuck on Mario for the Super NES. We have had more fun with that game the past few nights than probably any PS2 game over the past few months!

Obsessed with:
Prince of Persia:Warrior Within(yes, I beat it, but haven't gotten the alternate ending yet)
God of War(beat that one too, just like the violence!!)
Meteos(Gameboy DS)--highly addictive, not even mine, I just hijack my BF's DS all the time
eviladybug--I think you are talking about Devil May Cry...
I've been duking it out on Battle.net with Warcraft III recently, and on the Xbox i started a new knights of the old republic II game not terribly long ago (gonna be a Sith this time). A little Dawn of War... Haven't really been messin' with games too much lately...
I'm all about Sims 2 & Sims 2: University now. I can't wait for the new expansion pack coming out in September. Woo!

Final Fantasy V and Civ III
Addicted to PS2-
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas... Grand Turismo 4.... building my garage... I am such a video game junkie.. I just found a PS2 game that had all the old ones... Astroids, pong, etc... been playing that one too...
PC game.. I have a really cool game called Civilization... takes place in England.. like in Robin Hood era times, you build villages and you have to fight wars.. pretty fucken awesome!

I remember Max Payne and Grand Theft Auto! I'm hooked on Super Mario Land and Nickelodian Racing.
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
Day of Defeat
F.E.A.R. demo
Galactic Civilizations II (beta)
World of Warcraft
Let me take this opportunity to restate the obvious to RHI and her SIM-addled followers:
THE SIMS IS NOT A GAME. THERE IS NOTHING FUN ABOUT SIMULATING SUBURBAN LIFE.
Thank you. That is all.

Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality, the costs become prohibitive.

Man, I shelled out $45 for the Sims 2 DVD edition right after buying my laptop at Christmas, and I probably fiddled with it for a couple of hours before I got tired of it. I guess creating one's own little world wasn't as interesting to me as I thought it would.
I'm out of the gaming bit for the time being, cuz my PS2 finally crapped out (I tried cleaning the dust from the inside but the discs still skip, and I can't take it to a Sony dealer here in the UK cuz it's a US-spec (NTSC) model. And I'm pretty much a sports games guy anyway.
My personal question then is...PS3 or XBox 360? I know the new XBox is supposed to come out in time for Christmas, but PS3 won't be til next year.
"Women, not girls, rule my world" - Prince
"No parking on the dance floor" - Midnight Star
ps3 is looking close to what $600 now?
