My classes start up again in on Sept. 8, and I was just wondering for those of you balancing school and dancing, how much can you generally handle? Right now I'm working around 35hours at my day job and 25 hours dancing, which is exhausting and too much. I'm quitting the day job when school starts, and school hours for me are 15 in class and about 8 extra in homework, reading, research, etc. Now, I used to work another part time job 30 hours a week and go to school. It was busy, but I tend to be a workaholic. Obviously with dancing there is no need for me to work so much, but I would still like to save as much $$$ while I'm young and fit as I possibly can...
That said, what seems to be a good balance for most of you? I was thinking 20-25 hours of dancing...it might seem like a lot, but the hours at my club are ultra flexible. I could break it into three long shifts or five short shifts, or one long, a couple short...weekends, evenings, whatever. I don't want to burn out, but would still like to (ambitiously) clear $1500-$2000 a week (about what I make now). Is this an unreasonable goal?

. And the "rule" is for every credit hour your supposed to spend 2 hours out of class reading, studying and homework per week. So 16 hours for class and 32 studying. So my school is more than a full time job. Im so gonna try to go by this this semester. lol we'll see how it goes.
