    BT, Limewire or eDonkey ???

Oh boy am I a little confused! I have been using WinMX for awhile now however it isn't my cup of tea anymore..

I need a download program in re: downloading music files (as I do shows and need music for those shows)... I've been recommended BitTorrent (BT), Limewire and eDonkey programs.

I've done a google search on them.. and well.. from all the information I've absorbed about all three.. I don't really know which one to choose for me!

I want something that will enable me to download recent and not-so-recent (anything 70-90s) music files, is free to use, easy to use, efficient, spyware and adware free and allows me to designate which folders on my computer I will and won't share with the world (as I realise these are P2P programs)....

    Thx everyone!!

PS I posted this in Music Mix as I need a program in re: downloading music files... I apologise if this is not suited to Music Mix...

Limewire for me is the best. I have about 5000 songs that I have downloaded from them and they are anywhere from 1950's to not out yet!

I like limewire as well but finiding brand new rock can be a little difficult. Lots of corrupted files. As a secondary option i use Warez which works well but sometimes has slow connections.

    eMule/eDonkey

Okay... some I'm naturally assuming that if I downloaded eDonkey and Limewire that I would do pretty well? Just that I prefer (and kinda only have the space) to download one program instead of two... however if y'all think that having both of them will help me (be a blessing not a bane)... then I will...

BitTorrent is out by the looks of things ?

None-the-less, I went to www.limewire.com and www.edonkey.com and it seems there is a "PRO" version of them both.. naturally my question is "Is it worth it or will I do 'just fine' with the free/basic version?" of each program.

I'm not going to be a heavy user - just downloading various songs to make my song sets for my shows.

I use the free version of Limewire and have found every song and every video I need without the pro-version, and with very little queue time, if any.

I used to use WinMX primarily but the network is slow and corrupted with fake users. I have switched over to bearshare. WOrks very well and very good connection speeds, plus lots of files available.
