    Default photo shoot coming up....

    i've got an important photo shoot coming up in 2 weeks that i've only just found out about, and the resulting photos will be what i will use to get work through my agency from now on. has anyone got any tips on what i can do between now and then just so i really look thinned and toned for this shoot? or any quick weight loss tips or something? i'm not looking for long term results, just something i can do to at least make me look a little bit better in the photos!

    Please do not take this the wrong way, but you look super skinny to me! I don't know if the photographer wants you thinner, or you do, but hun....What would be left? You look good.

    tanning makes you look thinner and more toned... and maybe go running/jogging/walking daily if youre not a huge fan of working out...

    Maybe get an ab lounger? I don't think it's rally done too much for me, but I feel skinnier anyway,lol.

    And TAN, TAN, TAN!!!! That always makes you look more fit.

    But seriously, you really don't need much. You look smokin' anyway.

    I agree with everyone else, you look amazing now! If you want to look more toned, focus on weights/squats/crunches for the next two weeks. And as many above have said, a tan does wonders (but go with the healthy self-tan, if you find a good air-brush artist, they can even "draw" more muscle tone on you!).

    Heh.... you know what bodybuilders do before competitions to enhance the tone and look of their muscles? They don't drink any water or eat for at least 24 hours before the competition. The skin gets super taut around the muscles. I'm definitely not recommending this...... it's bad for the body. Interesting how far some people will go though for that competitive edge.

    ^^^ Lol, I have a girl I work with that does amature fitness comps, I'll have to ask her about it when she gets back.

    She never works before a certain # of week before comp. So I don't know if I'll see her anytime soon or not, lol.

    I study alot about fitness and nutrition on my own ( that's what I'm going to school for), and one thing I read that sounded good is doing some serious weight training. Three days a week for the next two weeks will help... Tax out those muscles, and on the day of, get up early and push out a full body weight session. The blood will really be pumping into those muscles, giving a slightly more toned appearance, and making you feel better too, which is what really counts, since you look good already. And no, you won't get bulky!!!

    * now that I think about it, since it's short term, go for a bodybuilder's diet as well. Strict lean protein, lots of veggies, lots of water. It won't hurt you since you're not sticking with it. Should help for the shoot.

    2 days before a shoot I cut waaaay down on my carbs
    excersize alot but not to the point that Im exausted
    have liquid food, salad, chicken, veggies, and fruit
    "think" thin
    water is my best friend

    thatll get me through then right after the shoot Ill have real yummy healthy food...sometimes not healthy.

    PFFTTT! YOU'RE the one who looks like a proffessional model! Okay, so... Rub your coffee grounds into your thighs and ass... it's supposed to help get rid of cellulite. Take Papaya and Garlic pills a few days before your shoot, they're a diuretic (damn, I spelled that sooo wrong!) and will help u lose water weight before the shoot.

    thanks for the advice everyone

    i've been working out pretty hardcore all week, and i figure if i stick to that and am really strict with what i eat i should be able to shed a few pounds before the shoot. i'll probably give the bodybuilder's diet a go for the few days before, cos i'm not looking for long term results, it's just essential that i look very thin and toned in these photos... cos if i don't i won't get much work!

    You can go get a body wrap the day of or before. It's a temporary fix, and sounds right up your alley (although I concur with the general concensus-you look fabu already).

    I concur that you look great, but if you really want to see amazing results in 2 weeks, get the "Ultimate New York Bodyplan" book by David Kirsch (Amazon has it, Barnes & Noble). He trains Heidi Klum and Liv Tyler and the results his plan gives you in 2 weeks are pretty f*ing amazing, just be prepared to work your ass off, literally and figuratively! Seriously, strict,strict but tasty food plan, 1 1/2 hr workout each day, but this program and his free-weight exercises really cut into and lean out your muscles unbelievably well....

    You might just want to kill someone the first 3 days though , but you will also see results w/in first 5, so it'll be worth it. Just try to avoid fights w/ SO while on it!


    ps he also gives advice in there on supplements for energy, fat burning, cleanse, etc.
