lol....I've neverheard that one, I guess I really have heard everything now. I dunno that is crazy and you are adorable. Are you intimidating? I don't know but I have seen girls who rock on stage and for whatever reason it scares the guys, They tend to go for the softer ones. I for one am all about a little stamina..LoL

I've heard this too. I asked them, "and in what way does being beautiful offend you so much that you can't spend money on me?" I asked this from at least three different guys that told me this. The answer was pretty much the same. They said less attractive girls are willing to do more in a private dance. They think if a girl is too beautiful that she is spoiled by getting money handed to her without even having to dance--while less attractive girls have to work harder and are willing to do more.

While I believe it's true that some men are intimidated by beautiful women, I think the majority of them fall in the category of wanting the most physical action they can get out of a lap dance. In reality, it doesn't matter if a girl is super beautiful or super unattractive, the majority want the girl giving the most physical activities.

I think thats a cop out excuse, but it may be true. One night I was dancing for this guy and we were talking. Somehow the conversation got to the fact that usually I have an airbrush tan, but this night I was really pale. He said that if I was tanned, I would have intimidated him and he would have never aproached me. I didn't understand that, but he spent quite a bit of money on me, and i made about the same as when I am tan. So I still like to be tan but I am not as paranoid about being pale anymore.

Sounds like a one liner to me,

" I can't buy dancer from you, You are too damn beatutiful"

"I can't call you an asshole,. You are too damn ugly!"

    Take care I suppose.

If it's not that answer, I will often get ''you are too good for this'' or ''you are too intelligent to be a dancer''. Both of those responses normally hint they don't want a dance as you're not the type of girl they generally dance with. Because I know this I will often retort that they should try something different. They never know, they might find that I do something for them all the ''ugly'' girls don't because I've got that special 'something something', you know what I'm saying?

The ugly lights! I love it!

"Well, sweetie, shall I ask the bartender to turn on the ugly lights?"

When I give then the WTF face, they usually folloqw up with, "I resepct you to much" or "That would be treating you like a hooker, which you are not" etc.

I know these are jsut cheap cop-outs, but wehn it is slow, I jsut can't resist pulling out the thereapy couch and the big cigar and asking, "So tell me, what happened in your childhood to make you feel that way?"

I try the "why would you want a dance with an ugly girl?" No one says yes to that one.
Then they usually go "no" then I say whats keeping you from having fun? so on and so on......

if they dont soften after 3 sentences I bid them a good night.

the "oh baby i can't buy a dance from you, you're too beautiful!" line was one that i always seemed to hear most often from latino/european men. then they'd usually ask me why i do this job, and tell me that if i was their girl i wouldn't be doing this, and ask what i'm doing after work.

that used to really anger me for some reason, so i'd usually just rattle off a string of abuse rather than try to think of anything witty. it's gotta be the worst excuse not to buy a dance ever. even worse than "i'm gay"

These guys probably just don't want you to get too close for fear that you may discover that their wives have had them neutered! There is nothing like public humiliation by a beautiful woman!

I've heard that too, I've also heard that they feel like we know each other too well because we've talking for 5 minutes.

That's the worst cop out excuse... EVER! What, does he really think you'll be like, "Oh, gee. You really think so? I'm so happy you said that instead of getting a dance!"

The last guy who said this to me was a cab driver. I told him, "what woudl yo say if some potential customer told you they can't get in your cab b/c it is too pretty and clean? You would tell them to get their ass in there and never mind how pretty it is!"

This guy was a real cheap skate, jsut wanted to talk to me for free. So I also tole him if he wanted to talk, he had to pay a standint time, and my meter charges by the song. He backed off pretty quickly after that!

Thank god for SW! If not for you guys, I would have been stuck ther talking to that asshole all night, for free. I love you guys! *MUAH! MUAH!*

They want more mileage or have no intention on spending money to begin with. Very little grey area on that.

My husband has a theory that guys really think, the more creative their excuse for not buying a dance is, the less we will notice what cheapskates they are.

I think he is on to something!

Holy crap! I thought it was just me. The other night, I hit this guy up for a dance. I was on him and hustling. I had to go up on stage and I saw him take another girl back. She is not the most attractive and somewhat overweight. Now, none of this matters except that when he came out of the dance with her, I asked in a silly, sarcastic way....why he didnt get a dance with me.
He came right out and said that he rarely ever gets dances with the "pretty" girls because they think they can just get by on their looks and not work for the money. He said the less attractive girls work harder for the money to compensate for the fact that they are not as pretty. WTF??!!! I was miffed to say the least and I said to him, "ok, well, I'm not going to beg so I will let you go if you really don't want one from me."
For the next half hour or so, I would just glance over at him and smile and act like I didn't care whether or not he got a dance with me. I really didnt care anyway.
He ended up getting 2 VIP's from me that night. I guess the fact that I was so "i could care less" to him, he changed his mind.
Anyway, makes you wonder how many other men feel this way about "pretty" girls.

I don't want to bust anyone's bubble, but that sounds like a polite way of saying that they just don't want a dance from you.

Condescension is not polite. If you don't want a dance, say so.
