    Default 9months off & i'm goin back...any tips?

well, it's about that time! had my baby august 1'st... now i'm goin back to my club for just 1 night a week (at first) next wednesday. i'm nervous! eek! i lost all my pregnancy weight, but there are some parts of my body i need to just tone up a little, but i know that will come with time once i can exercise again.

anyway, i was just hoping i could get some tips/advice. i never used to be a great hustler, but i always did ok @ work. i remember how everything is, i think im just a little nervous since it's been a while. plus, i can't afford any new outfits right now, so i have to work my old ones.

i think i'm going to have my makeup done the day i go back, just to give me a little extra boost. any other thoughts?

    thanks guys!

God I hate you;. I had my baby May 19 and still haven't lost all the weight. That will teach me to not eat frozen pizza everyday while pregnant I was nervous as hell when I went back to work but as soon as I got on stage it was like I never left. Honestly I was so excited to be back to work (and have money again) that it really didn't bother me being up on stage

Did you get the ok from your doctor? Most doctors do not want women back to work until AT LEAST 6 weeks later. You may think that you are ready...but it takes at least that long for your body to "heal" after having a baby.

If your doctor gave you the ok...have fun!! My only advice is to take it slow and really listen to your body. If you are breastfeeding your little one, make sure you take a pump to work with you...your going to need to relieve the pressure periodically throughout the night. And, listen to your body...if you feel like you shouldn't go into work, don't.

Congrats on the baby and losing the weight!! YEAH!!!

    Hey,
I had my baby in Jan of this year and returned to work 2 months later with 15 lbs still on me.I did something that really helped me,I switched clubs.Everyone at my old club remembered my six-pack tummy so I decided to go to a smaller club for a few months before returning to "My home club",I was like you and could not afford new clothes but at the new club no one had seen me or my outfits before.I got an Ab Lounge(they really work if used everyday)and returned to my old club to raves about how good I looked.I still work at the smaller club that is in another town once a week. When you are on stage think about your new bigger boobies and not your tummy.I wish you lots of luck!!!!!!!!
