Lightbulb Donating clothes for the girls?

I don't know about most of you, but I know I have a few outfits that I don't use anymore.

I want to help out our fellow sisters out there that lost everything. I am willing to donate a few of my outfits that I don't wear to some of the girls who lost everything in the storm/flooding/looting/move etc...

Face it, we have to stick together.

I wouldn't know how to set this up, but I'm going to try to get a few more girls at work to donate outfits too. Then maybe I can find a few clubs that have "displaced" dancers and send then care packages.

Do you guys think this is a good idea or not?

I got to thinking after reading a thread in Stripping that one girl is in Atlanta and didn't know where to get outfits at.

So is it a yea or a nea?

Yeah I was thinking about doing something like this but not sure how to implement it properly. I'd rather the stuff actually get to real displaced dancers and not just some cheapass taking advantage of our generosity, ya know?

I do have alot of outfits I could donate.

Well maybe some of the girls who work in the surrounding areas could chime in.

*If you have a displaced girl at your club that lost her clothes and shoes, please let us know.*

If you are a member here and are a displaced dancer please let us know.

If all the girls who work with displaced, then maybe we can get addresses and names to sent the stuff to. Even if it's just sending a few outfits to the club with the girls stage name; it's better than nothing.

Short of doing that, I don't know. Maybe contact some of the clubs personally? See if they have any girls that we could help like that.

    Dunno.

That's the problem, I get these good ideas, and don't know how to execute them, lol.

Heh, I know. I've been thinking about this for a couple days (also because I saw that thread from the girl in ATL) and not coming up with much.

Maybe our clothing donations would be put to better use if we just have a big clothing auction and donate the proceeds to the Red Cross or something...

I have a few things too, in larger (for dancers) sizes. I think it would be easiest if anybody who works with a displaced dancer could let us know where she is and what her dress size is, and somebody with appropriate-sized hand me downs can send a care package.
