No, you were right, they are adoptive/foster parents to the kids. It's a sick world out there!

Yeah, I was upset. There are plenty of foster parents who just take the kids in for the paycheck & then they make the kids work like servants, or molest them, or do some messed-up crap like this. I was just thinking of a girl I knew of who was sexually abused by her adoptive dad. You never know what disgusting sh*t is running through some person's head.
wtf that's horrible!i can't believe anyone would keep autistic kids in cages. if you're just gonna do that, why adopt in the first place?
For the money! The govt paid them b/t $500-1000 month each child.Originally Posted by Darcy Foxx

Dear Sir,
Today I read an article about the local children your agency found locked in cages.
I find it disturbing that your comment to the press was that there was 'no evidence of abuse'. What the hell kind of treatment are you looking for in order to consider it abusive?
These children were locked up in cages. If you don't understand why this is abuse, you are unfit for your position in protective services.
Your comments are a disgrace to humanity, and to the public service to which you belong. Those children are certainly abused. Shame on you.

I saw this story on the news, and it broke my heart. My brother is autistic and to think of some other kids that are like him being locked in a cage like an animal, hurts so bad.
people like that should not be allowed to live.
There's a wild side behind every innocent face.
End violence against women.
I support Dottie.
^ I would like to point out that reporters are NOTORIOUS for taking a part of someone's sentence and snipping it to fit what they want to reflect in their story.
I didn't read the article, though. And, I have no desire to. Sad.

i live in ohio so it was in the local paper. i really am at a loss for words.

I saw that...I have no clue where to even begin with this...it's just so wrong...*tears*

How does any persons mind even work like that ?

WTF??? (I'm going through baby fever right now, mainly because it's impossible for me to get pregnant) People like this really piss me off. These people can adopt and put kids in cages, but if I ever want to adopt I'll have to explain the whole stripping thing, even years later. It's just so fucking incredible to me that so long as someone looks good on paper, they can get away with Hansel and Gretel shit year after year.
Sadly our newspaper on a few pages back today had the headline above the article that said, "Caged children well behaved". Its almost as bad as the nursing home abuse videos you see on tv sometimes.
