OK, I like to wear stuff to work thats a bit different.. more of a pin-uppy sexy glamour doll look... if that makes sense... anywho... im thinking of buying this for work and wear ivory stockings with it...

I guess my question is more like would you pay $224+tax+s&h for this outfit to wear at work? I love it but am kinda against paying so much for ONE outfit... just curious if others out there will pay big bucks for dance wear ... i usually limit myself to $100 per outfit unless its something special... oh, and the garter is an extra $101 so i would pass on that... its just the bra and panties...

The only type of thing I will pay that much money for is a nice gown in which we are required to wear on stage. That, in my opinion, is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a boodie short set or a bra and panty set. Plus stuff like that doesn' t tend to last very long, especially in a club with cigs, beer, etc. Spend your money as you please as it's all about confidence in the long run. If you are allowed to wear a towel around yourself and that makes you feel the most confident you should wear it. You are as sexy as you think you are.

They are both really sexy but i would try to find similar items that cost less. they look pretty generic to be so expensive, work will tear them up. I get really sexy booty shorts at jc penney, I stock up and have like 5-10 in lots of colors and styles. If i spent that much on one pair, they would be ruined pretty quick. (people spill drinks, things like that).

Yeah, but the difference between JC Penney and Spoylt is HUGE. I'm guessing sometimes you just want to look and feel like a million bucks

The way I see it is Try it. Sometimes when you get a new outfit that you feel great in, you end up making more in that outfit. If in a night or two you see it isnt working out for you, put if up and save it for a night at home. I think it will look great!

I like the first one... but I wouldnt pay that much for it... I tend to stick with cheap stuff unless I slap something on a wishlist for clients to get! The most expensive outfit I've bought for work is the Swarovski bikini in my signature image & avatar. About $200

I'll blow some cash on lingerie, but for the bedroom. Delicate pieces like that won't last for long in the club. But since you bought them, enjoy them! They're pretty.

I think they're really pretty, good choices. It's fun to splurge once in a while, even if it is for work.

Just a heads up...I had a pair of bootie shorts like the one in the first pic. They didn't even last through the nights. It's amazing how outfits like that will find the littlest things to snag on. I paid about $50 for my bootie shorts and they were pretty much ruined the first night.

Save them for the bedroom...they'll never make it for long in the club. While it feels nice to wear expensive lingerie, the reason you get "cheaper" lingerie for the club is simply because it's no big deal to replace something you bought from jcpenney or the like. Spending $224 on lingerie that is made of such delicate fabric is bound to piss you off when you get a little snag in it.

I'm with Venus here. Any time I bought expensive (over $100) outfits for work they magically ended up getting ruined within a week! It's depressing to buy something so nice and turn around and have it ruined so easily. Since you bought it already, I would keep it as a home outfit so you have less chance of ruining it.
I got a beautiful light pink robe that had crystal lining around the hem and the first night I wore it at work a girl accidently brushed her lit cigarette against the breast of it in the dressing room and it was completely ruined. I wished the whole rest of the night that I had left it at home!

All I know is that if I walked into a club and saw a woman who looked like AudreyLeigh wearing either of those outfits, I'd first pick my jaw up off the floor and then hand over my entire moneyclip.

    I love both of them!

I tend to go for the pin-up looks as well.... tip... black thighs from wal-mart work and look great.

I'm going to have to check out JCPenny's thanks buffie!

I would probably try to find a cheaper knockoff. I like to wear pretty stuff sometimes, but I don't wanna pay too much because it does tend to get ruined quickly. I'd really rather not pay $200+ for something so flimsy and easily ruined to work in.

lol, I can totally picture this happening and I'm laughing! I think it's gorgeous and who knows? Maybe the above mentioned scenario will happen when you wear it at work and it'll be worth the $$ you paid for it?

Has Audrey got an update for us in re: the outfits she bought? Did she wear them at work? Have they lasted? Or have they been relegated to "the bedroom"? Update please

In re: if I would wear them: yes UNDERNEATH something else if possible. I would feel rather 'naked' in just a bra and booty short set (unless I'm lingere or topless waitressing). Besides, in a club it is best to wear more not less.

I would purchase it for lingere/topless waitressing as it can't get to ruined at those gigs but not for the club. I would personally find cheaper look-a-likes for the club.

Not for that price girly....!!! Instead I'd let the cash burning a whole in my pocket simmer for a little while longer and see if something better (and less expensive!) doesn't come along and cause me to go into a buying frenzy!!! I like outfits with a lot bolder and brighter colors anyhow because they catch a lot more of the lights onstage and get way for attention from customers!!!!
