    Default Merry Christmas

Hey guys, we only have about 2 and a half months until Thanksgiving, and if we don't have our thousands for Christmas by then, it will be too late.

Working every possible day we can between NOW, and Turkey day should ensure a jolly holiday, and lots of c notes in our purses.

I see so many girls stress out about holiday money in Dec, and if they worked as many days as physically possible, and hustled hard 3 months before, all would be good.

Let's go for it guys. Make that money now!! Christmas is here!!!

I start in January, getting leftover christmas merchandise that is on sale. A couple of years ago, I found my mom the most beautiful snow globe (she collects them) in Marshall Fields for abut 75% off. I never could have bought it for her otherwise. I always buy stuff wehn I am on vacation and whenever I see anything good that makes me think of somebody in particular. I have a special section for it in my day runner, so I can remember for whom I've bought and who is still waiting.

I have educational toys I bought for my son years ago, and a signed book I got free at some library event, jsut waiting for this christmas. I got the toys b/c I needed to buy more than a certain $$ amount in order to get some bonus (free shipping or something) and figured I'd jsut put them away for later.

This saves me lots of financial and time stress! ANd I have more time to do fun holiday stuff in December.

I also know a family who does their presents on January 6th (3 Kings day) to take advantae of after-christmas sales.

I stock up at Bath & Body works during their semi-annual sales for birthdays and last minute gifts.

LOL Tina! Right on. I like to do alot of shopping early (like October) and my work season is just kicking in. It's full steam ahead for me! I also tend to pick up items anytime of year if I'm travelling and see something that absolutely screams a certain person's name at me, especially if it's a good deal...

I agree, get started early girls! Don't wait til the last second like ya do with the rent every month

I buy random gifts early or at least plan out what I know I am going to buy... I've already been checking out the stores where I know the managers or owners really well and can get great gifts at a fraction of the cost.

My boy friend and I try to get all the gifts bought by Thanksgiving so we can give them to the folks when we see them then instead of mailing them.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

The main thing is to make sure you make extra money NOW so you have plenty of money to buy nice things in December, including some nice gifts for yourself.LOL.

Also dancers need to consider that bills need to be paid during the holidays and business tends to slow down, so working a LOT from now until Thanksgiving, and saving a chunk of money, will avoid money stress.
