True, but there is the factor of dead space on the resume, not to mention that combined with age discrimination. Suppose, you decide to quit dancing in your 30's sometime, how are you going to explain to an employer what you have been doing for the past 10 years or so since you have been in college? Other than entry level, secreterial type jobs (unless you have a specialty degree such as nursing, etc.) I think it is going to be tough getting a decent job when you over the prime hiring age and have no real work expericence, even with a good ol' bachelors degree.Originally Posted by BigGreenMnM
Don't get me wrong, I am VERY proud of my degree. But I get more satisfaction from knowing I have a solid education rather than considering it a safety net for a good job. The best safety net you can have is SAVING your money and investing it.
