    Default Am I too Old?

    Hi girls,

I'm interested in Dancing part time to help out financially, I just started a new career as a Real Estate agent that pays nothing until you sell, I'm single and in pretty good shape, fake boobs (which are a pain in my butt) but all and all I'm ok looking the problem is I am 34 years old and have never danced before, I did do a nude modeling shoot last year though. So what do you think, do they have dancers of this age and also has anyone heard anything about Tennyson Lounge in Bethal Park, pa.....

    Thanks

Seems like the most lucrative age in this industry is late 20s to mid 30s.. give it a try!

my friend at my club is 36 and she is HOTT!!! boob job and tan and works out a lot, she is one of the best looking imo. i would say hotter than me even (im 27) lol but we are all hot in different ways, know what i mean. we are complete opposite in looks and both do as well as the other.
its not about age, hair color, boob size, etc. its about if you look good and have the personality, and can handle it. my 2 cents
if you check the club chat and club review sections you might find some info on that particular club. or check stripclublist.com , it's probably on there and you'll find some info.
Oh, I musta took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

I say go for it! I am 27 started dancing when I just turned 26 and from some posts on here i thought i would be done for sure before i started b/c of my age, but once i started i realized i can do this til i dont feel sexy anymore(by outward standards). If you feel good about yourself, then go for it!

There are a lot of older men who appreciate a woman in her 30's. Sometimes there is nothing worse than feeling like they are robbing the cradle. Plus you will attract the men who have money and not the 20 year old guys who feel $20 is there week's allowance.

It's been my experience that the prime income earning age group for this business is between 18 and 35. I've even met a dancer here in vegas who is 44 and still earning an average of $1K a night. You have a lot of advantages that the 18, 19, and 20 year olds don't have, so don't let your age concern you. If you are making the decision to dance, you'll do just fine.

There are plenty of girls your age and much older who are in the business. If you're in a good shape and most important have a great attitude and have big patience in dealing with men who sometimes won't behave themselves, then do it!I've met a woman from CA who started when she was about 38,killer body and made lots of money.

Thanks for the encouragement, I think I am going to give it a try if nothing else at least I can say I tried that in my life, Life is too short to not experience the things you would like to because of fear, It took me 7 years before I got up the courage to get a boob job, well it didn't turn out the way I wanted it too, they are too big for my body and have a raised spot in the middle, but hey they are way better than what I had before, I just wish I would have done it alot earlier in life, that way I would have had alot more time to invest in getting them revised the way I want. Thanks alot girls, I really hope I do make some money to make it worth my efforts

34 is young. I'm 36 and know LOT'S of other girls in their 30's and 40's who dance.

Many clubs in my opinion have TOO MANY girls in their early 20's working. The average MONEY SPENDING club patron is aged 35-65. He is more likely to want the company of a girl who is well kept, and older, because they will have more in common to talk about.

Plus many guys feel girls who are too young remind them of their daughters.

The older dancers tend to be more comfortable building regulars, and keeping in touch with them. I hear all the time from customers that I deal with, that many younger dancers don't talk to them, and tend to keep their distance more than the older dancers.

You're at a prime age. Good luck, and go for it!

I worked with a 40 year old dancer who looked 30 and out-earned me almost every night. She was so sweet though so it's not like I was trippin'. But yeah, dancers over 30 frequently out-earn the younger ones because they've got the skills, the confidence and the brains. Newbies, watch & learn.
If you feel bashful about something, learn to camoflauge it. You can cover the raised spot between your breasts with jewelry or a leather thong. Teach yourself how to do "stage makeup" & people won't be able to guess your age. I always do my make-up to look a little older since I'm so short.
This job will help you in your real estate selling- I know a couple ex-dancers who are wealthy Realtors now.

Tina and Madmaxine are exactly right. I was a 'late starter' to exotic dancing myself, and found that most of the money comes from guys in their 30's and 40's. To be brutally frank, most of the guys in their 30's and 40's will definitely pay attention to the latest 18-21 year old body to appear on stage, but will typically lose interest the minute they attempt to carry on a conversation with that 18-21 year old. Thus a dancer who is in her 30's who has maintained her looks offers these sort of customers the best of both worlds, and will do well in any club where customer interaction involves conversation.

I have found that the biggest 'challenge' for dancers past age 35 is not their ability to earn money or their ability to entertain customers, but the ability to keep up with the physical demands of the 'job'. Even though these girls don't look their age on the outside, they feel their age on the inside. Therefore, working out regularly is a 'must', as is limiting your schedule to avoid working too many consecutive nights in a row.

Some of the best looking women in the world are in their 30's...there are dancers even in their 40's that look great. It's all about taking care of yourself.
