Default Ethnic clubs vs. Nonethnic clubs

    Hello fellow dancing divas!

What has been your experience betwix these two types of clubs?

My personal experiences have been equally satisfying and dissatisfying.

Some ethnic clubs I've worked at: Paradise Club (as seen in the movie Belly), Gentlemen's Club (Atl), Black Gold (Miami), Magic City (Atl), She-shes (New Orleans).

Those clubs above are just a few of the clubs I've worked at where my money potential was above par consistently. The bouncers are nice, the management is fair, the environment was safe and the again, the money was decent. Of course the music was r&b and hip-hop. The ladies were spicy with their own personas and goals. The variety was vast: big girls and skinny girls. The customers were black, white and latino.

Some non-ethnic clubs I've worked at: Shotgun Willie's (Dakota), The Edge (Nebraska), The Lariat Club (Nebraska), Club Madonna (Miami), The Golden Nugget (Wisconsin).

These clubs were where I had to sell drinks to get a commission off of them. These clubs were slow in the beginning of the week and picked up near the end of the week. The bouncers were nice. The management was questionable at some of these joints. The music was r&b, some hip-hop, pop rock, hard rock. The ladies were spicy and the variety was somewhat vast. The customers were mostly of the non-ethnic persuasion.

Overall, I've had more fun at the ethnic clubs. So what's been your experiences?

I bounce between a few clubs myself (one very young crowd/ blue collar, second business casual (mixed) and third more elegant.

I do the best with business casual. Age group 30 something and up . You obviouosly change your hustle accordingly but I do not have patience for younger guys. The blue collar was all on stage and volume period(wanna dance girl or time wasted). Business casual was more finding a few good tables through the night, fun, better clientel and regulars-EASY MONEY) . The most upscale was hit or miss. Too stuffy for my taste. Seemed like customers were into their business accociate, food, or wife. Yes, because it was so nice they felt safe bringing their wife. Dancers were more agressive here than the lower scale clubs. But all you is is just that one customer there.

Oh sorry I missed the point..

The younger club played lots of hip hop and Hard rock.

The middle club payed Lots of Classic rock and Country every 3rd song- occasionally the trance or top 40 hip hop song.

The Elegant played tons of dance, trance type music. Classic and non vulgar alternitive rock, and a hip hop song if your lucky.

    Oh this is killing me!!!!!

Im trying not to respond in a way that might get me demerit points, but i just gotta say....

There is NO such thing as a "top"ethnic club!!!!!

If there is,before you read this post, its already closed down,or its as they say"1 in a million".

The only entertainers who should be looking for an "ethnic"club,is the big breasted, blonde,WHITE entertainer.

Everyone else, who might happen to be "ethnic"should figure out how to use it as an advantage in the everyday, most common, money makin,,run of the mill,WHITE CLUBS.

i sometimes go to a few clubs that have mostly black & mexican girls. i usually have a good time unless its 95% mexican, in my experiences they get very jealous when the hottest hispanic girl in the club is dancing for a white guy instead of them.while i'm not very attacted to black girls if they're fun i'll buy dances & drinks all night.
but most night you can find me at my run of the mill white club.

I agree there is no "top ethnic club" or a club that strickly has just black, white, asian, hispanic, ect. I believe hustlegal was refering to the majority of clientel , not being racist (at least the way I perceived her post. My post was in the reference of club atmosphere and music played. I have worked at clubs that have a larger amount of hispanic , redneck cowboys, or black customers. The clubs that I worked at with mostly hispanic and black men played Mostly Rap, R& B . Other clubs limit rap and play more country or classic rock . I will dance for anyone spending GREEN $$$.
