Default Girls in Guam

I plan on leaving for Guam soon. I will be working at the Club Crazy Horse, the owner told me to email her about 2 weeks before I wanted to leave and she would book my ticket for me. I plan on emailing her next week.

I'm pretty excited. If I like Guam, I am seriously considering getting an apartment, and staying there, maybe even checking out the University and going to school.

I was just wondering if there are any girls in Guam right now that would be interested in exchanging emails, and maybe meeting up once I'm there? It would be nice to have a friend who knows the ropes! I'm definitly interested in Guam itself, living there and the school, more then just dancing there.

Feel free to PM me.

I'm not in Guam at the moment, but I was there last year. It's really tropical and beautiful, but the money is not very good. I'd definately advise you to go first, work your contract length, and then decide if you'd like to enroll and move! Good luck!

The best way to stay in Guam comfortably is to live with or marry a serviceman who is home-ported there- I would have done it if I hadn't left when I did.
The median annual income for a non-military Guam resident is appx. $20,000- you'll have to get used to eating Spam & dressing down. Everyone shops at KMart.
Guam's strip club's heyday was a long time ago. See if you can get some school finished here before you go there so you can have marketable skills.
Good luck.

[COLOR=Indigo]I may be going to Guam. Do you want to compare notes? I have thought the same thing, 'cept the apartment thing, I could only settle there for so long even if I was happy there for a while. I couldn't say about plans like that 'til I after I had experienced it: I did consider school too, but that's way to far in advance to say. I could always come back to the States if I made a ton of cash and probably would. If I did like Guam I wouldn't become a perm. resident there. Like I said, I may make the trip (I'm unsure about 10 hrs a nite times Six) but drop a post anytime.

My family lived on Guam from when I was in high school to around when I graduated from college (not on Guam). I cannot say enough about not moving there. University of Guam is not a quality school. The island is only about 15 by 35 miles, which means you're really limited on places to go and things to do. The beaches are mostly polluted and suck. The scenery isn't great for a tropical island. Also, there's a feeling of, discontent and unhappiness on the island. Plus, the cost of living isn't great and the economy is in the shitter. To top it all off, you're a couple thousand dollar plane ticket from the states. Or just about anywhere else. If you want to move to the tropics, there's better places to go. On the other hand, I havn't lived there for years. But, back to the first hand, the economy's even worse than when I did live there.

I haven't contributed to these Guam threads in a while...however the beaches are NOT polluted. Let's be real people, would the Japanese tourists be swarming to the beaches on Guam if they were??? The beaches, and snorkeling there are the best things about Guam (the shopping is good too, if you have the $$)

I wish I had a scanner, so I could post some pics of the beaches there. They are gorgeous!!!

Also, I have never paid a couple thousand dollars for a ticket there/back, and I have visited Guam w/o dancing there a couple of times too. Like any other Pacific destination, plan your trip ahead of time to get the best fare/s.

usually 1300 for advance bookings, before 2 weeks, 2300. so if your in a bind and want to go home its like 1400 for one way. Guam has some really beautiful beaches, the reefs of the marianas islands is 3rd in the world. just like any city next to the beach the closest area is prob not going to look like hawaii, but its guarented to be one in 10 min drive. really make sure you want to be 24 hour trip away from home though.

I've been in Guam for almost a year and am coming back to the states next month.

The beaches are very beautiful and not at all polluted.

It's funny how much biased info there is out there about Guam. People seem to be very ignorant about the island, even the ones who have been here! But I guess people can be unhappy anywhere, even a tropical island....

The money in the strip clubs isn't the that great compared to the states but you do have a weekly paycheck you can depend on.

My advice is if you visit Guam try to get out of Tumon and actually see/experience the whole island.

I've made some really good friends out here and had a great time overall. Guam's not so bad if you make the most of it. Every place has it's good and bad...

I agree. I had a wonderful time in Guam. Money is good, not great, but consistent. And, anyway, the clubs pay airfare, apartment and salary, I was pretty happy with that.
