    Default I'm slightly unsure....

I want to start dancing, but I'm really unsure how to go about it! Should I just go to clubs and see if they're hiring. I'm in the Phoenix area, if anyone has some input that would help me, I'd appreciate it. I also have a fear of falling in heals, the highest heals I wear are like 3-4 inches....God I'm lost....

until you decide if you actually want to stay dancing dont invest in any expensive shoes or outfits.

go to a club you would like to work at, talk to the girls, watch them, and set up a date to audition. practice at home if it makes you feel more comfortable.

You can start out with 4 inchers, if that makes you're most comfortable in them. You'll adapt to the height while dancing and can upgrade them as you go. Just make sure they are shoes that you will only use for dancing. I've been the victim of girls wearing their street heels (they cut up the stage terribly).

Talk to Bridgette. She's in Phoenix and can let you know about the clubs around there: Which ones are good, which to avoid, audition processes, that sort of thing.

    Good luck.

i wish i would have gone to some of the strip clubs to feel out the environment, girls, and managment before i chose to dance at some of the clubs that i did. it probably would have helped me out..... you shouldn't have a problem with 5 inch heels... usually thats the lowest a club will allow you to have... . im sure you will be able to upgrade to 6 and 7 later down the road... this is just a suggestion but if you're very nervous about dancing your first time i would try to find a small little place such as a bikini bar to start out with, and then if you feel like your confident to go big time at a high establishment then switch clubs.... but then again sometimes its better to just jump in and start right away at a big club... lets be honest usually one can tell if they should be dancing at a big time club or not. but its all up to you and what club u feel the most comfortable in.. there is money to be made at all different types of clubs...there are sooooo many factors that go into the ammount of money you make in any given night....

I would suggest getting some 6" heels and wearing them around the house for a day or two (doing dishes, landry, walking the dog...just kidding). You'll get use to them pretty quick. Best of luck in Phx, there are some terrific clubs here!
