    I called it first.

    That means I got "dibs".

I dont care what country ya strip in,or facilitate forementioned process..

    "dibs"is still"dibs"

And ya just cant argue wit "dibs"
Its given by all courts, parliments, and tribal councils, even the knights at the roundtable knew "dibs"(except Lancelot,he forgot)

Dont make me call my lawyer this early for this bullshit,i dont need the drama.

    I called it first!

    I got "dibs".

Suspect level of success will depend almost entirely on which market / part of the country you're planning to try. For instance, have no doubt would work well in New Orleans (or, at least in the NOLA that existed prior to Katrina) but, from what I've seen of Houston, wouldn't go over very well in the "mainstream" clubs - you'd probably have to find a "niche" type place somewhere (assuming such a place even exists here!). As a matter of fact, started thinking about it when read your post and, to the best of my recollection, can't recall ever even so much as seeing a Goth dancer in a club here - which ought to tell you something (i.e., at the very least, management won't hire).

^ True. I am a punkass at heart (my answer to the "Time Machine" hypothetical question is "1979, Gangbang with The Clash") but at work I do the Exotic/Tropic Girl look because it works best for me. Five feet tall & round-faced, I do not fit the Domme mold.
I do love the Goth look on other girls but it was never something for me. Too much work I guess LOL

don't model for suicide girls. it's run by a horrendously anal guy who boots models for no reason, and they won't allow you to model for any other site. if they find out you've been cheating, they boot you. i have male-run porn sites.

i have a slightly different take on goth- i have a goth tendency. i prefer to wear only black, red, and purple, and i have very pale skin that i'd like to keep, but no tattoos and only two holes in each ear. also, i want to adopt "lucretia" as in "lucretia macevil" (blood sweat and tears) for my stage name. will this be too much?

i'm in md, by dc, btw.

    Hey Rican,

I agree with what you were saying but I have a question, what is the difference between a go go dancer and a regular dancer? I thought they were the same.

Yeah, I thought about being a Suicide Girl but I never knew who ran the site or anything, I always knew there was something behind it maybe like a judgemental things where you have to have the following: tattoos, piercings, etc.. yeah... I don't think I would. I was told I should model for Hot Topic and I'm f*ck that I wanna remove the clothes I'd do their panties and bra modelling and a skirt or two but f*ck the clothing

    THANK YOU EVERYONE!

I am glad I got such a good response.

But, as a side note, while I am into the entire goth/punk scene I am also into the classic pinup imagery. AKA, classy women = sexy women. I love makeup but I think at the club you should leave the pale face powder at home.

SO, thanks again! I went to the club tonight and talked with some girls there and I got a great response. Thursday is the ammy night so wish me luck!
You are all very sweet, thank you once again!

On and btw, I dyed my hair black again as per everyone's advice!

Well, what a lot of the other girls say hold a lot of truth. I am punk/goth. and when i started, i had no real idea what i was doing. But the other girls (bless thier hearts) took me aside and told me how to make better money. Most girls would get offended when you have 4 strippers telling you what you should and should-not do. But, i took it as a learning expierence and was thankful that they wanted to impart thier advice onto me when they didn't have to.
First, they got me to change my style of dance clothes.. they told me, go pink, tan, white and paisley intead of dark velvet and leather stuff i wore. Next went my make up... tone it down, not so much black and i did look hot in my classes so sport them. After that, my hair. At the time i started i had a really cute angled bobby cute. Adorable but i can make more money with long hair. So i got extentions and let my hair grow out.
And they told me i really needed a tan. I don't have to have that golden beach goddess glow, but one that gave me a little color and helped me look trimer and healthy. I'm Irish so I don't tan well, so go the bottle route or spray if you need to. Slap some of that on after you get out of the shower before work (it'll take a while to figure out how to get the hang of it) and you will have a nice healthy golw for a day or two (and it's so cheap and quick).
Last was to chanche my approach and dancing. I was used to clubs where you just dance. Well, I had a customer come up to me one night and just said "dance slower". So, i did, and now i've perfected it. Granted it's harder to dance with more control but it's not only sexier but it tones you up too.
I don't mean to be long winded but i hope this helps. Take care

Babygirl you don't have to have tattoos or piercings to model for suicidegirls, but it would help you to get picked. But like Venus wrote in her post above, all of that stuff is true.

All of the best SG models recently left the site in droves, many of them are the faces that are plastered all over the merchandise and in magazines.

    Sorry for getting off-topic.

I've recognized a lot of SG girls promoting things in various tattoo magazines. Mostly healing lotion, etc. But yeah, the best seem to have left the site. Off topic.

gnberet, i used to know a goth dancer who was very successful in houston clubs. she primarily ended up working all-nude, though, because those clubs are the most lenient with tattoos/piercings and stage shows. she made most of her money off stage performance. in the topless clubs she worked in, they kept insisting she cover her extensive (but attractive and well-done) tattoos. there are a few goth girls/domme types in some of the other clubs locally. they aren't always top earners, but their niche market is pretty good.

Ah! Not suicide girls! If they're not good for models they're not good for strippers.

I'm quite "goth" and work at an upscale gogo bar. I wear a lot of bondage gear and 9 inch boots, I really play it up and I find that it makes a lot of money because it is so unique and so "out of place," if you will.

I do the Goth thing but I think I only pull it off because of my chest ATM. TBH it's not really popular and I make easier money when my look is more mainstream. Barbie will always trump Emily Strange. (Someone said this one time. I wish I could remember who)I wouldn't advise making the goth thing a consistent habit. You'll just fuck yourself in the long run. Take it from someone who was in the goth scene long before Twilight. Back in my day vampires didn't drink fairy blood or sparkle in the sunlight. They turned to ash in the sunlight.

I was reading the front page of this thread, not realizing it was from 2005, all like, "Where is Tempest?!?"

For any goth girls checking this thread a decade later ... agree that having a conventionally hot body is necessary to pull off a goth look in the club.
