Thumbs down getting your pd. on stage

I was at work tonight and there is a girl that was on stage. i seen that she had started her pd. I dont really get along with her at all but i felt bad cuz some customers where laughin at her. I went over and told her. When i did she just looked at me like a was crazy and kept dancing. When she got down she noticed i was not making it up and tryed to get a additude with me bout it. I didnt even know what to say back to her. I just told her i tryed to tell you. Then she whent to the manager and told him i was teasing her. What kind of shit is that? what would you say to her?

Not much. I certainly would never try to help her again.

Ah... she got nasty as a way to save herself from the humilation she must have felt once she realised that she had done a full stage set with patrons looking.... plenty of people act this way when humilated or really embarressed. Don't say a thing.. let her vent. She'll hopefully get over it.

Next time, only tell the dancers (if it happens to them) who you know will receive the information favourably. Just make it a "note to self" that you will just have to let her be as she reacts negatively when she feels humiliated.

Yes, she was just embarressed and took it out on the only person she felt she could, which was unfortunately you. Don't worry about it. She'll probably apologize to you later.

I can't believe the customers were laughing though. I started mine once on stage (of course in a yellow thong) and a guy whispered it into my ear and then kept tipping me so I wouldn't have to go to anyone else.

    Ok, what is wrong here???

How can YOU not know??? I suppose that there are those out there that don't keep track because they dont' need to, for me, its simple, you count out and you keep in mind that in, oh about 29 days or so you are going to be a raving bitch from hell for a few days...

We did have a girl at a club I worked at that had this happen, but she knew that she was on her cycle and she just had an overly heavy month that month, she was on stage and before she even dropped to the floor, she walked off the stage and told the DJ she had an emergency...

I've seen strings hanging out on newbies and have ALWAYS told them.. I don't believe any woman regardless of how they are personally, should ever endure that type of embarassment.. men can be quite cruel in that aspect...

LOL, in my case, Aunt Flo is on HER schedule, meaning she will typically come when she feels like it. I used to think I was safe with 30 days, but sometimes my period comes early. There are months when I won't even have a "noticeable" period - even though I experience the cramps etc... so now that I'm a more experienced dancer, I know to just plug it up just in case.

What? I danced through a whole song with no one (customers or dancers)telling me jack, only to get off the stage and have like every guy in the place tell me I have a 'mouse hanging out of me' (the white string from the tampon) so bad I had to leave the club in embarrassment, and this girls being a bitch when you try and do something nice for her?
You should have told her about her behind.

Well that girl is a bitch and I simply wouldn't talk to her again.

I'll never understand why strippers who know they're getting on stage and spreading/bending over naked or nearly naked, don't think to put in a tampon when period time is close. Even if it's unpredictable, I can't imagine not being able to tell by symptoms that it's coming soon. Mine was extremely unpredictable for years and I still knew it was coming in a few/couple days because I'd have breakouts, headaches, bloating, etc. Just stick a tampon in for work during that time. And don't wear light colored thongs. Sometimes I've done it 3-5 days in a row before getting my period, but that's a helluva lot better than being bloody on stage or on someone's lap.
