Hey girls...I searched the forums for this but didn't find anything. I have long hair, about mid backlength. What could I do with it for dancing? Any tips? I don't want to ruin it by frying it with curlers ever night.

You can use a ceramic curling iron, which is much better for your hair than a regular one, remember to use a polishing serum or a leave in conditioner while doing that.At the same time to avoid over drying it,try not to use blow dryers and hair spray.

Pull it up in a classy twist with a few loose hairs- cute for lingerie or dress. Pig tails for school girl outfit
Sometimes I sleep with mine in chunky pleats to give it that wavey mermaid look when I take them out the next day.
You can always use your long hair to an advantage.. men tend to love long hair. You could always just leave it straight or give yourself a braid after you get out of the shower to give it some waves once you take it down and there is no added gunk needed to give it that look. Take the seductive look by letting your hair drape around you and him while dancing for him but just remember not to let it hide your face. In that case you can always pin it up on one or both side with a barret or small clip.
I also like to be lazy sometimes and just bunch it on the back of my head and pin it in in a sloppy bun style and letting tendrils fall out. I don't even use hair spay. Just spray on a little bit of leave-in conditioner and that should hold it. Plus if you want to take it down, it's not covered in hairspray so it's easy to re-style agian. Plus the leave-in conditioner is always good for your hair.![]()
I have long hair [to my butt] and I try to do little things like put pretty little clips or a big Haiwain flower clip in it holding back parts from my face, or I do pigtailed braids leaving small pieces out to give it a loose look. Every once in a while I will get a colored mousse (got to b head, I think it's called) and after I wash it I will towel dry it and put it up with chopsticks and use the thick colored mousse at the ends to give it a punk kind of look. You may have to use a couple bobby pins to secure it tightly. Otherwise I let it air dry ALWAYS and I try not to use hairspray unless I absolutely have to. I started using plain clear aloe vera gel in it after I towel dried it, just to give my natural curl a little plumper.
