    Default Body Makeover

Here is a little background ( before I get to the question )

I am in decent shape , I actually do dance the entire 8 hours I am at work. But im finding little time if any to 'work' out , be it a gym or running.

I have to drive 1.5 hours to work and again 1.5 from work. With that and the 8 hours I manage to squeeze in for sleep , it leaves nothing in the way of personal time.

I am 27 years old, I have been dancing for 10 years ( yes one year before legal.) I have had 2 children and honestly I've bounced back both times great. I just feel with age and such I'm not in my "best".

I'm noticing cellulite creeping up , Although I'm 120 and 5 ft 6. I do eat right. I dont smoke and only a rare social drinker.

What can I do to shape up and redo myself a bit ? Im not lazy by any means , Im open to all suggestions. I also want to see results lol. I get bored easily with working out ( which is why I adore running and dancing. )

My legs are my only problem area . Abs are fine .. upper body is great.

I want to stay lean and not bulk up either. So im a big weary about weights and squats.

I'ts not possible for women to bulk up..that is a myth that so many women need to get in their head. Weights are the "good guys"...I get so frustrated when women say oh I don't want to get "bulky" there is no way a woman can naturally get bulky. You need alot of testosterone (think men) in your system for that to take effect. Your legs are your problem area because you're not doing squats.

I added up what your typical day is:
    8hr- sleep
    3hr- to/from work
    +8hr-working

Tart, you still have 5hours to do what you need to do. If you are so pressed for time that you just can't bear to go to a gym, why not bring the gym to you? Go to your local library, and rent some workout movies/dvds? Do that at home.

You can go to Walmart and make your own home gym. They have resistance bands, weights, exercise balls, dvd's, etc.

Check out http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/women.htm This is like my favorite link to go to. Please don't be scared of the website title "bodybuilding" LOL..trust me it won't hurt you...

    Good luck,
    CK

Squats and lunges can be done at home. You can even use cans from the pantry for free weights. This will tone but cardio will melt the fat.

Take Tonalin CLA...take some GLA (gamma linoleic acid) in the form of Primrose oil or Black Currant oil.

Cellulite is a storage of toxins and fat. You may want to consider doing a fat flush. And, then changing the way you eat. If you eat fast foods...or foods that contain Trans Fats...then you will get cellulite. Pretzels and Graham Crackers contain Trans Fats.

Women do not have enough testosterone to bulk up like Ah-nold. A regular weight lifting routine will keep you lean and increase your body's ability to burn more fat efficiently (upping the metabolism). Also, 30 mimutes of intensive cardio is great. You may also want to consider looking through the following books: The Fat Flush Plan and Body for Life. They are both packed with great information and both great books!
