Help
I've worked at the same damn club forEVER and when I say forever, I mean 4 almost 5 years now.
When I first started there ( this is in Indiana btw ) we were NOT allowed to sit on customers laps
Both feet had to be on the floor when giving a lapdance or VIP dance.
We had to wait till the first drink was served before approaching a customer.
There was NO contact with the dancer ( ie no grab ass )
Ladies,
none of that applies now. I took 2 years off to travel and basically catch a second wind . I came back to dancing a little over a month ago and Im floored at the skanky behavior. I know for one that you dont have to get so intimate to make money. I've seen it made there before they became so lax in judgement or policies.
Now, it's damn near impossible. When I tell a customer "no you can't do that" they look over to the next stage/couch dance etc and see a woman getting her boobs grabbed and get pissed. Thinking I'm lying to them.
I want to go elsewhere but I am very close to the owner and mgmnt ..along with a ton of the staff . My sets are always incredible and exactly the music I want. Not too mention, there isnt much cattiness etc.
To go into a new club locally and start all over terrifies me. I am moving in June to phx as it is and will have to go through it there. Im just not sure if I want to do it here.
How the hell do regain power in my dances and with my customers even with skankiness is going on all around me?
Is it even possible?!
Or should I get over shit and go to a new club?
I'd like to add Im still making money. Most that I do make money on perfer me over the rest because I'm not ghetto, I can hold a convo..I dont smoke .. I don't drink ( meaning they can use that money on a dance ) and I dont look so bad
I would just like to be able to avoid as much as possible getting felt up.
My motto is " im dancing good , you dont have the need to touch "

Re: Help
Aww hon I'm sorry...skanky girls gotta love 'em...those are the women that lead everyone to believe all the ridiculous stereotypes about dancers. As long as your making the kind of money you want to make keep doing what your doing and don't worry about what they do. If there behavior is affecting your money then its definitely time to find a new club!!!
