    Angry a disappointment

well, remember my last thread said that i got hired at a club i audtioned at. well, they still haven't called to say when i am supposed to come in. but, i can say that i am working some where. just last tues. i started working @ the glass slipper in b-more, md. my 1st night i left out with $108 on the 2nd night i left with $120 and on the third $128. but, last sat. i only left with $85. it was really slow because of the fight. stripping isn't as bad as i thought it was. if anyone can give me a little help with hustling i would really appreciate it. once again thanks for all of the incouragement oh and my friend went with me on friday night, but she said it not for her so she is going to babysit my kids for me. i have to pay her though.

I have no kids and Im sure some of the other girls can give you good adivce on that.

Always great to approach them face to face instead of you coming from behind. Alot of the times assuming the sale works for me. But thats me. Everyone has something that works for them.

Ok, I once worked at a club like this. (hustle drinks) kind of a place. It is VERY TRICKY because there are probably girls who are giving extras for higher priced drinks and this makes it hard for the ones who play it straight. You can ALWAYS just prop yourself right down next to a guy and strike up conversation. The place I worked was a DIVE so I would try to be witty with a line like, "what's a trashy guy like you doing in a classy place like this?" It would break the ice and get him talking. You can also usually depend on the bartenders to help you out, as they get a cut too. Like the bt's at my club woud say, "hey star, I want you to meet this guy, he is so funny and also from tennessee..." whatever! You et the point. GOOD LUCK. This hustle is hard and you really have to establish some regulars to make your quota and make your $$$. Where is this club you are working at again??

Mmm... that's hard to say. Clubs like that can be VERY lucrative, however, you may be expected to compromise your morals to get there. If you are okay with extras, you'll BANK if not, it will be a little more competitive. Give it a month or two. If you are still having shitty nights, move on. Like i said, regulars will be your lifeline in a club like that. Start networking asap for some repeat business.

when i worked at a club that had a drink quota, if they guy had a tab I would order a shot "virgin" with a red bull back, thats 2 drinks knocked back right away.

Its just advice, but i would find a club that does NOT have manditory drink quota's.

Its not to soon to look for another club,it never is,even if your happy with the club your at,always have a backup plan and a club to go to if you need it.

In Bmore, there are a handfull of really good clubs you can work at and the BWI can take you to DC in 30 mins, and alot more clubs.

Your in a good area for dancing, just find a club with no drink quotas.

Find a new club since there are so many more in that area. Did you check the reviews section here? It has some good info. Go to GNC and look into some protein shakes to do before you go to work. They have a pretty decent chocolate one that I used to mix with a banana or strawberries. Good luck!

Mind if I ask how you like it there? I'm planning on auditioning there and would love a quick rundown on the place. Specifically, what's the schedule like...house fees...average $...and where the hell do you manage to park in Fells Point?!

hi. i like it there a lot. i've been there for over a year. but it's different than most strip clubs. it's kind of set up more like a bar. the stage is long but narrow and behind the bar, and then we walk the bar after our set. house fee at the end of the night is $30, dj tip out is $10. money really is different for every girl. you can make money from laps, champagne or after your stage set. some do better than others; some make avg. 200 each night, with some really good nights here and there, some make more. but i like the laid back atmosphere of it. it's been really up and down recently though.
as far as parking, i just park on the street in front of the club. there are usually some places since we get there @ 6:30. and you can make your own schedule each week.
    hope that helps.

    That does help; thank you!

I remember what the club looks like, from being in it once with a friend's bachelor party...but I can't say that I was sober enough to remember much else. oops.

you said you're having trouble hustling drinks? why not go to a club where there is no hustle for drinks? how about one that's bring your own beer? there's Showcase (which I think is BYOB on weekdays) and there's the Player's Club (formally known as the Wagon Wheel)

i went to the players club last night for an interview. i am supposed to start on mon. i just got my period though and by then it will be heavy. do u think i should still go considering i cann't get fully nude. i have to work tonight at the glass slipper, but i'm not really worried cause right now it's light. is it harder to make money when its that time of the month? i'm really scared that i won't make alot tonight considering the guys that come in there like to see pink more than breast. what do u all think i should do?

Clip the string and dance honey, just make sure to check often and wipe with baby wipes. It's something your going to eventually have to deal with while dancing so make your best effort to figure out what works for you now. And I think it's easier to make money during that time, guys seem to flock to a womans menses scent. I know, sick huh, but it's true, kind of like a dog in heat.

hey, sorry its taken me a while to write back. yes, ritz is a strip club. you can go in usually on monday nights to audition; thats what they tell girls to do. around 6:30. but if you like wagon weel/players club then by all means stay there. aren't they full contact? i know 1 girl that works there (i think thats where she works.) the name i know her by is iyanna. she's so hot, one of my favorites at my club. (she works @ ritz too.)
    anyway, good luck

^^^ LOL, better than hot coffee!

As for the time-of-the-month question, just do it.

Make sure to tuck or clip the string, and keep yourself clean, and you'll be fine.

    lol

Ok as far as help in DC,sorry all my info would be old and outdated,i can help in Va if that becomes an option for you.

As for the other problem, please just dont wear a white thong.
As others have suggested, for some odd reason, many custies love a spotting entertainer and seem to often times tip more.
Im not saying its gross, its just not my thing.
The only reason im even saying something about it is,the custies like it,most entertainers i know get off stage and run to the dressing room the moment they discover it all embarrassed.
Its a wasted set,or a set cut in half, and a mental thing thats a speed bump in your hustle during the night.

just another disappointment. well i worked at the players club for 3days. on my 4th day i was on my way in. just 15mins. away and i get a call from my manager telling me not to come in cause they have hired to many new girls and the have to let me go. i was so upset, because the night before i had left with $408. i was so ready to come in on sat. cause the girls where saying that they normally don't walk out with anything less than $1000. now i'm trying to find a new club to work at but it's hard. on manager let me audition and then told me that i wasn't what he was looking for. i asked him what was that and he wouldn't tell me. i know i am not ugly and alot of guys in the clubs that i have worked in always tell my that i am sexy. i just don't know what to do. i went to the hustlers club last night for amauter night and the manager looked at me from the top of the stairs and just shook his head no. i wish i had some pictures to post of myself to get u guy's opinion. i'm going to try a couple more clubs though. I HOPE I FIND ANOTHER JOB SOON!!!!!!!!!!!! i cann't keep taking this rejection.
