Anyone know any good home remedies I can do at home for the flu/cold?
Darn, I was just at my dr.'s yesterday and I feel like i'm gonna start getting the flu today. My nose keeps getting stuffy.

I haven't been sick for longer than a day with colds flu etc since about the early 90's. The reason - I found out that if you take 5 grammes of vitamin C as soon as the first symptons appear - the symptons usually go away within half an hour. If not 5 grammes every hour until the symptons dissapear. You can't over-dose on vitamin C. You can also mix up Sodium Ascorbate (non-acidic vitamin C and use it as nose drops - very effective!) It may give you dioreah at first, but it's not really bad dioreah like a bug.
I now have a thing called a Zapper which works wonders or if I'm stuck somewhere and don't want to look like I'm wired up like a suicide bomber I will snort a little bit of Colloidal Silver which I have discovered makes cold symptons dissapear withing a few minutes. (There is a Colloidal Silver thread somewhere here with links etc and also info about Agyria which deserves a mention although I'm not particularly concerned about it...)

Goji!
I increase my dosage from 2 capfuls to 4 or 5 or more a day... and I'm over it by the third day... however I also havn't really experienced a cold/flu for quite awhile. Whenever I do it is due to stress.
