    Hi Everyone,
I'm new to dancing, I've only been doing it for about a month. For the most part, I'm comfortable in my club, aside from a few shady people....my problem is that customers, and even friends who know Miami better than I do keep telling me that I can make so much more money working at other clubs. I bring down about two hundred a night, I figure it'll go up once I learn to hustle. I'm afraid that if I decide to work at a different club, that it'll be difficult to find one that I'd be comfortable in.
I'm really confused here, can some of the pros give me some advice?
    Thank you

This is a pretty common occurance in the club. Take it as a compliment because they are basically just telling you that you are better then the club youa re working in. I laugh at customers who tell me I'll make so much more working at XYZ club. I usually say "But I wouldn't have met you here tonight if I worked there now would I?"

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

    ^ Good point.

You have to to do the math on your income from X Club vs. the tip-out, plus your business overhead (travel, costumes, etc.) For example, when I worked on Guam, I was in a dump-ass club but if I had gone to a better one, I would have been saddled with making more money for the ritzier club (% of dances, drink sales quota, etc.) I would have been working harder for THEM not ME.

Keep your investigating of other clubs a secret- clubs are surprisingly sensitive about their good dancers trying to jump ship. But you have no loyalty to them.
