    Default quit my CORPORATE JOB?

    ok ladies...

    i need ur advice

im 22, i never went to college, but ive been working in the financial field for about 6 years now. i want to strip for the main reasons

i mean, i only live once. im 22 , and i just want to have fun. i want to live a fun life!

im not a slut.. only slept w/ 3 guys
im not a dummie, i have a good job these are both typical stereotypes (so not true!)

i want to make lots of money and just fucking have fun... u know waht i mean?

    i love attention from guys
i love dressing up and getting all dolled up
also , i hate waking up in the morning to go to work, id rather work nights
i hate my boss telling me what to do and sitting at a boring ass desk all fuking day...

    right now i make 35K a year...

i dont care what my family would think. but sometimes im afraid i might regret it. yea i think it would make me happy. all i do is complain about my job. im lazy i guess (i know stripping isnt easy but i think id enjoy it, so it woudlnt be so bad)

im afraid the types of guys id want to date... or if i want to get married some day, guys will hold it against me.

please give me any advice you can.

im really excited, i have lots of stripper clothes and alreayd have a name picked out!

lol - im nuts... who dreams of stripping... usually its a last resort... but i guess not for me.

Stripping is fun but it has its down sides too. Yes, you get to sleep in, yes ou have no structure, yes you make loads of cash, but it takes work. And I do mean work. You have to hustle yourself, and you have to be upbeat and the best salesperson you can be at ALL times. Not just to the cute guys, or the smart guysm but the ones you would never want to talk to, and the ones that may make you go home feeling cheap afterwards. There have been a couple of times in the past ywo years where I walked out at the end of a shift and told myself I was never going back. I get bruises everywhere, I pull this muscle or that muscle, I swear that I will punch the next redneck who asks me to go in the back and fuck, and I go home feeling overwhelmed by 7 hours of loud music, drinks, and physical exhaustion.

But it can be loads of fun. I have quit dancing twice and twice I've returned to it. It makes you feel free, powerful, in control, and financially sound. Before you quit your day job, I would try dancing out a couple of nights a week to see if its really what you want. If you can deal with the drama, the high stress, and the need to push yourself every minute for that extra dollar, then go for it.

Please understand that I'm not trying to discourage you. It takes guts to even admit an interest in the field, and therefore, you go girl! I just want you to be aware that many days it won't be the dream job you thought it would be.

Just do it. QUIT! And never look back! You do only live once! I quit my corporate job 7 years ago when I started stripping. I stripped as my sole source of income for 2 years, worked another corporate job (in the financial industry) full time AND stripped for 2 years and have been stripping (well, I am retiring now, it looks like) full time again since January 2003. I have no college education and really, I don't want one, never have. But what I can say is that in the last 7 years, I have had more freedom to do what I want, when I want and just live life and enjoy. Have there been tough times? You bet. I wouldn't change it for the world. Fucking quit. Say fuck the corporate life and live YOUR life!! (And give your teacup chi a big wet kiss for me! )

Don't worry about the 5 lbs...they will go away on their own. Trust me--I have been 150-170lbs since I have been in this business and it's all about attitude, personality and how you carry yourself. And I am not a very motivated gal, so if I can maintain and have fun while stripping full time, a motivated woman will do so well. It almost motivates me!

    Well said Glamazon.
JonJ I think if you are that excited about it and are going into being open minded and doing it for fun then you will do well and get the good things (money & freedom) out of dancing. I also work in finance and I know that dancing helps me remember to LIVE LIFE, you just don't get to do that in the finance world.
