    Default alaska or hawaii?

    Hi all,

I'm trying to decide which one to move to, and my bottom line is money. I would be grateful for any information regarding clubs and earnings in either or both states. In Alaska, I'm considering Anchorage, so anything specific there would be especially appreciated. Thanks so much for any help!

    Love,

    Ashleigh

    Do you have a pic.
Try Alaska Bush Co. in Anchorage, Fantasies on Fifth is good too.
You are coming into winter months which are always questionable.
Reflections in Fairbank - talk to Connie - she'll fly you up, put you up and pay you for an 8 week contract.
Don't know anything about Hawaii - sorry.

hey- i flew to alaska 2 summers ago with no plan- just a rental car and anchorage stripclub addresses. i checked out the bush company, fantasies on 5th, crazyhorse and this other place (pj's perhaps- i forget the name but it was a local hole in the wall that was more like a bar than a strip club- not a big money place). the bush company is big with really high ceilings and it is kind of saloon-like. packed with men and some girl customers, lots of hot girls working, lots of hustling, very visible stage (i dont think there was a pole). i hung out there drinking but its not my kind of place to work- i enjoy smaller clubs, and do not hustle. fantasies on 5th was smaller, and suppose i would have worked there but i remember something weird about it (maybe like a separate room for alcohal or something like that- call and find out). the crazyhorse is where i ended up working. i think it is a chain-club, and it serves food. there is also a "crazyhorse too" in anchorage but i never went to it. the stage was pretty good money, had one or two poles, and the djs werent complete nazi assholes like at someplaces. there is a kitchen there that serves food, and i got fresh halibut that was caught the day before and was delicious. lap dances here and at the bush company are done on the floor where the guy sits. full nude dances are done in a back room, but i didnt do any of those (most guys go for the regular dance). you keep all your dance money, but you pay 10$ per hour that you work. so if you work 8 hours, you pay $80. its instead of a stage fee. you some of this money back in the form of a paycheck. i forget how much. im pretty sure the bush company works this way too. you tip the dj in a bucket each time you are done with your set. the afternoon shift doesnt have alot of girls working, but the night shift has lots of girls working. most of them were overweight at some level or another(alaskans pack on poundage to battle the cold, i suppose). i am tall and very thin with B cups. at the bush company, i would be just another skinny chic, whereas at the crazyhorse, i was exotic. if you liked fast-paced hustle clubs, go to bush co.
by the way, i hated alaska and left early cause its a different world there. people work hard, drink hard, and fight hard. you need a car to get around. anchorage isnt a fun city- its more like spreadout stripmalls, houses, a tiny downtown, and wilderness hours away. there is a huge amount of violence there, and every girl i met had at least one child by the time she was 21. the rate of hiv is pretty high there, so if you fuck, wear a condom. find out when residents get there check from the government (everyone who lives in alaska gets around 2grand to live there-i believe it has to do with oil). i hear money is good when the gents get their check. find out what clubs are close to the oil rigs up north, too
as for hawaii, i am thinking about going there too. i am also considering puerto rico (specifically the doll's house- a club i was recommended by a fellow dancer here in ny). let me know where you go

by the way, keep in mind that there are clubs in the continental us where you can great money, and at the same time, live in a healthier place, where it isnt freezing cold, pitch dark 24hours a day. alaska is a republican state with the highest amount of domestic violence, and it is also a place where people go when they have no place else to go. many people with warrants or felony convictions move to alaska. i was recommended to get a gun by a batender at one of the strip clubs. everyone has a gun. its like the wild west with walmart. be safe and if you want, contact me if you want some other recommendations- [email protected]

I worked at Bush Company in Anchorage and briefly at both Crazy Horses several years ago. I was there for about 5 months.

Hawaii has strict strip club laws and not many allow lap dancing so that is not a wise choice.

I wouldn't advise moving to Alaska. Why not go there for a month to work and see how you like it. It's not as expensive to go now. Keep in mind a lot of things we take for granted in the lower 48 states aren't there. If you want to leave by car it is a 2000 mile drive to Washington state.

I would never advise moving to a place without first going there to live on a short term basis.

Anchorage is a very racially diverse city and the metro area is about 300,000 people. Just check it out first.

A tip from a long time dancer. Staying in one place is not good in this business. One needs to travel to different places to work as this business is ever changing. It is hard to make consistent money in any one major city nowadays. You can get hired at a bunch of clubs and travel around to work at them without having to physically move. That's the best way to do it in my opinion.
