What is the average amount of money you make stripping. (for anybody who wants to answer)

It depends on the area I am dancing in at the time.

I think .. avg doesnt exist any more :pout:
Id say I've had nights of 22 bucks ( swear to god ) to obscene amounts.
depends on events locally ... but i'd say 350 is avg these days for 5 hours. after tip out.
usually 2-400 a night 6 hour shifts.
It's really shaky where I'm at. You can make 25 bucks or you can make 400. My average seems to be 80-160 for a four hour shift, but I have about one or two GREAT nights week and one or two double digit nights.

It all depends but usually somehow evens out at the end of the week.
This is a really difficult question to answer as working as a stripper you are essentially self employed, and as anyone who has been self empolyed or as run their own business knows, you need to take the good with the bad. There is the potential to make alot of money but over the years there has been many a night when Ive left with less than Ive came in with. I dont really think there is an average but you should probably aim to take home between 1-200 a night although this again varies massively from club to club.
my avg is about 1100 a night
but i am an insane hustler and i have a few regulars who always do vip
I keep track of how much I make every night and write it on a calender. At the end of every month, I add it up, add up how many nights I worked, and find my average night. During the summer/spring months, I make average 200 a night. During the fall/winter months i Make average, 250-300. I also work more duing the fall and winter months because business is so much better. That also means that I come in a lot more on the bad nights like mondays.

After tip-out, I take home $450 on average...but I have the luxury of only working thurs-sun night (being a student I get to avoid weekday hours). But tonight I made $847! My feet feel raw, but WooHoo!
this thread is not going to be helpful..
most girls refuse to talk about what they make
of those that do, many are lying (either too high or too low)
and of the few that are telling the truth, it will have no bearing on what you will make.

You are difinitly right Emily. I have had girls at my club tell me they never leave with less than a grand. ummmmm ... yeah right. I have seen nights where all the custys didnt have a grand total and thats before beer and door fee. lol
They still swear they made a grand. Trust me when I say it is not possible, not at my club.

Tart where are you dancing??? I am one of the top gals and for Indy-- 350 average, I tend to disagree...I am "the Marilyn Monroe" look-a-like and work my ass off...plus I have many regulars...what club are you at? I don't mean to sound mean...BUT...where are you working? --I have also been in the Nuvo, website and am one of the better known gals...my average is about --- ...I am just curious...PT's??? Dancers??? perhaps I could see that...but I am a tad sceptical, no offense.

I dunno, I was telling the truth. I think I'm at a club where there are mostly six or sevens, so the few of us who are eights or nines just happen to do really well. Business is very good in our region lately...though in all fairness, I am still relatively new at my club, so I still get the regulars looking for a fresh face. Who knows. A travelling dancer from Australia told me our region was the best $$ in the country, but we are also a very high mileage club (ie- two-way contact lapdances that include breast touching...). It's true I never discuss how much I've made with the girls at work, but I didn't think I had much reason to lie here.
I wasn't saying you or anyone in particular was lying....$450 is a very reasonable average in this business. But my point was that just because $450 is your average, it really isn't going to mean anything to a different girl, working in a different city, in a different type of club on a different shift.
$257.50
I can't work off an average because I dance in frequently. However I do feel a bit disappointed if I walk out with less than $250. I mainly only do parties now and set my fee at $250 + tips, if I leave the party with less than $350 I feel jipped.
If you are asking because you are trying to get a feel for what earning potential is the posts here will probably help.... don't sell yourself short.

Many variables contribute to dancer earnings. Also many dancers for whatever reason are not honest about their earnings.
EVERY dancer who works this business on a regular basis has days where the club doesn't have enough customers, days where there are not enough customers and too many dancers, and days where the clientele is not comprised of money spenders. it doesn't matter how upscale a club is, everyday doesn't see the same amounts of money spent.
This business is no different than any other type of sales. Do car salespeople sell lots of cars everyday?
Do department store workers on commission earn the same amount every day?
Do realtors and loan brokers close the same amount of deals daily?
Every dancer has days/nights where they make under $100, and in some clubs don't even make their payouts back. Some weeks a dancer may work 6 nights and have 3 nights under $100, two of $200, and one of $300, other weeks one night under $100, one of $150, and 4 of $250, and yet another week have one night of $100, and 5 nights over $300.
Money WILL fluctuate, and you have to accept this and experiment with various clubs to maximize your earnings potential.
If you can AVERAGE $225-$350 a night including the slow and the good nights, you are doing ok.

I don't think that you can get a response for which you can compare to yours. Your average will depend on:
1. You and your hustling abilities.
2. Your club and whether it consistently brings in good business.
3. Your area. $500/shift is really good in Small City, America but really bad in, say, NYC.
about $400
when i was working 2-800 worst nite 150 average about 4-500
I just got back to work from having my BA. Wednesday I made 42 dollars, very dead!!! Thursday I made 73, little better but still very dead, Friday I made over 300, its about time and it was very slow for a friday, and Saturday i made over 400, once again, it was slow.
Just like saturday night, you can never tell how much you are going to make. We are open 6-2, I get there at 8. At 10 I had like 20 bucks, at 10:45 I had like 200. It only takes one guy to make a good night as presented here.
The worst is wehen everyone else is making money in the club and you are not making shit. That is just the way the business is like other girls have said. Some nights you do good, and some nights you do bad. Also, just because you are not making money at your club dosent mean anything. I have worked some clubs where it seemed like everyone else was making money except me, then other clubs, I will have 500 dollars at midnight and girls will be bithcing about making 50 dollars.
this business is proabably 10% looks, 20% hustle, and 70% luck!
hrm...I was thinking 20% looks, 70% hustle and 10% luck, but I also tend to rely on my fairly good sales skills to get a customer to spend (and keep spending!) rather than luck. My money honestly does not fluctuate that much day-to-day and I rarely have a bad night.Originally Posted by Lady
I know some girls have no sales skills or their club has so few customers that they have to rely on luck to have a good night so maybe it is 70% luck for them. I'd hate to ahve to rely on luck for a sales job though.
