Althena, can you afford $40 bucks? I got Billy Blanks BootCamp DVD series with the resistant bands. It is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I regularly train with weights and cardio but I have noticed a difference from this alone in two weeks.

push ups, squats, lunges, and get a few 10 pound weights...for arms.

NEVER spot tone. If you're going to do it right, do everything.

What she said, do all-over. Alternate muscle-groups (do half one workout, half the next) and don't work out to the point that you're sore for days, that damages the muscles. You want to be slightly sore but not more than slightly.

If crunches don't feel challenging, take a couple of 5-lb dumbbells and hold them in your hands crossed over your chest -- it's essentially like doing crunches on an incline bench.

In general, it's good to have a couple of freeweights to hold when doing squats, etc, if you don't already.

Here's a big secret -- building lean mass (which is what toning actually is) increases your metabolism so you lose fat faster!

I've been doing workouts 2-3x/week for the last month, mainly weight training with just 15-20 minutes of cardio, and my only diet change has been less sugar and breaking up large meal portions. I'm really obviously losing flab and I'm stronger. Almost all women don't get bulky from weight training unless they work really hard with that goal in mind.
