Ok I've been around here long enough to know that you should be making eye contact, smiling etc. I went to a club where one dancer came out for her set
"dancing" and fixing her hair at the same time. I mean she was putting it into a ponytail. She came over to where we were and asked us if we were going to be working there. Then she started putting her leg up on the pole to do a trick and noticed something on her leg and stopped to look at it for what seemed to be a minute. She didn't really seem to care about what the custies were doing. She was in her own little world!

) and maintaining a positive attitude became angered by the apparent disrespect from all drooling, staring individuals who refused to tip anyone...I lit a cigarette with a match right there on stage in a 'silent protest' --subtlily suggesting "no tip, no strip", and you get what you (don't) pay for! So, I too am guilty, but did this ONCE in my 7 years of performing...perhaps some others do this for that same reason? Otherwise I agree it looks bad for all the other girls and the club...perhaps it is a reflection of our diminishing economy.
~ my very own pole dancer!
Well, I didn't fix my hair or pick lint off my clothes, but sometimes it's hard to keep your game face on when it's boring in the club. Most of the customers were either a mile away from the stage or watching TV, except for one big table of drunk hecklers that I was trying to ignore. Ugh.
