Default Pole Dancing Lessons In My Area?

I'm trying to work on my stage performance and really step it up. A lot of the other girls in my club have been dancing for years and are amazing on stage, and I've only been dancing for a few weeks doing basic moves. I want to learn pole tricks and really make myself stand out more, plus I think it would be a lot of fun to know how to work the pole and do it WELL.

How would I be able to find places that offer pole dancing lessons in my area? I did a google search with no helpful results, so if someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

I wouldn't know about local personal lessons, but there are tons of threads on DVD's for Pole Tricks and such... Fawnia's name gets tossed about a bunch.

Yes, but the problem is that I can't afford to get a pole right now and there are very few opportunities for me to practice at my club...

I offer pole lessons in the Phoenix area, and Portland area soon, but that's not going to help you...

I really like the Pole Katz dvds, very easy to understand, you could watch it a few times, jot down a few moves, and then practice when you get to the club. If you wanted to buy a pole to practice on, I've been really happy with my Platinum Stages Super Pole.

I have given private lessons to local dancers. It really helps to have a few pole moves you can nail on stage, and can really boost your confidence.

    Good luck!

Depending on the kind of club u work in, (how well u get along with the girls) ask one of the really good NICE pole chics to help u out. This one chic in Texas, who didn't even speak English, managed to teach me how to climb all the way up the pole and turn upside down a few months ago. And I've been dancing for over a year so what does that tell u?

I found my pole-dancing class instruction through craigslist.

Search it and see if they offer classes or post an ad on there ans mention exactly what you are looking for. Use the adult gigs or classes sections.
    It's worth a shot.
