    Default Burn...

Last week the club I did amateur night at told me tan a little so i dont glow in the blacklight.

    i fucked up.

    10 minutes day one. (am)

    15 minutes day 2. (am)

about 14 hours after the 2nd session.. i started turning pink.

im now burned from nipple to knee and shoulderblade to ass. but the top of my chest is fine.. and face and arms...

how do i relieve the burn and even out the color once the burn fades to a tan?

you're like me, i burn easily too. once your burn is gone i would say you could wear say, a 15 spf sunscreen where you were burned and a tanning lotion where you weren't. if i were you i would stick with only 10 minutes each time for the first week or so. build your base tan before you start to increase your time.
good luck and be careful!!!! burning is not good, you'll wrinkle faster, not to mention skin cancer! it's not worth it. take it slow and make sure you moisturize well after each tan.
Oh, I musta took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

Yep, aloe vera gel in the fridge is your best bet now. There is also Ocean Potion from Walmart, it's an aloe vera lotion that has Vit C, E, and A in it. It's a tan extender lotion that has vitamins so it helps speed up the skins recovery process. It helps relieve the burn as well as makes it not peel so badly. OUCH!! If you ever use a tanning bed again, try changing positions in the bed. I would also recom. not going up in intervals of more than 2 minutes if you are light skinned.

Aloe Vera is my hero! I spread it on thickly, let t dry from the heat of my skin and then just put more on. I use oatmeal lotion also. It will get crusty, but the lotion also helps cool down the skin so it stops burning.
    Moisturize moisturize moisturize!
Plus, you need to work on a base tan before going in for over 12 mins (this is what I hear most people should do).. Your body has to get used to the bed before it will start to tan, kind of like the sun. You can't lay out for hours twice and expect a tan, it's a gradual process and sometimes takes up to a month to get a noticable tan. Also try not to go more than twice a week, like I said it has to be gradual.
Shame on the tanning bed people not telling you this. I've been checked out quite a few trimes to make sure I am tan enough to go into some of the super beds! Next time ask for their advice, they usually know how hot their beds are and what would be best for you. <-- at least I hope they do.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

Also if u absolutly want to go in the tanning bed don't ever go 2 days in a row and in the begining I was going like 2-3 times a week for only 10 minutes at the time now I don't go because I think it damaged my skin.

I dont know if you have sensitive skin already but take an oatmeal bath or aveeno bath. Itll help moisturize and keep from itching.

Fruit of the Earth's Aloe Vera gel is fantastic. It's sold at Target or Walmart.

From now on, use self tanner. It's cheaper. It's healthier. And you won't burn.

I forgot to add I bought an airbrush tanning system off the internet and I LOVE IT!!!

It's from Cosmetics O2. I actually bought it off of EBAY and the company is very reputable. Shipping was fast also.
