Anyone doing this? It's being hosted at Mints in Niagara Falls this year.
I've got minimal experience dancing and I've never done a competition before.
Do you need to have already won a local title to compete?
Any imput much appreciated!!

I don't know anything about this........except that my vote goes to Jenny.![]()

Usually you have to sing up before the contest. If you have a phone number or website where you can get in contact with the orginizers that would be your best bet for getting the info you need.

You'll want to contact Chris Lansdale.
Contest is open to US dancers too this year!

Great! Thanks for the link!!!
Wow, am I crazy to enter this as an ameture??
I don't expect to win top prize, but to win best newcomer (at 29, ha!) would help propel my career goals...
Honestly, yes. The competition is hardcore. Unless you have an extensive dance history or are deadly gorgeous, your chances are slim...
I don't want to discourage you, by any means! Just don't want you to be TOO shocked. I have no idea what your show is like, but best newcomer is often won by a girl who's been stage dancing for about a year (sometimes two), but with a lifetime of ballet/gymnastics behind her. You need costumes (at least $500 investment, and that's if you make them yourself), props (fire wands, portable shower, bubble machine, paints etc), sets, and a well-choreographed routine that shows flexibility, stength and sensuality (pole moves etc).
I'm pretty sure anyone can compete though, and there are categories like "best natural breasts", "most beautiful face" and stuff like that...so you could win a title just by showing up!
Good Luck!

OMG, the website makes it look like you need at least 400cc implants.Originally Posted by scarlett_vancouver

Thanks for the honest replys girls.
I'm pretty new at this so I don't expect to win anything but that's not really what it's about for me. I just want to get myself out there, "exposed" if you will. Plus I like to do things that scar the hell out of me. It's good for the soul, I think!![]()
I got an invite to join the private yahoo group for the pagent so I'm gonna read up on it more there. They have a dancer manual and a judges manual so I can read about all they are looking for.
Interesting thought about writing a book though...
Cool! What's your stage name? I'll keep an eye out
I'm thinking of entering if I'm still dancing in a couple of years...I figure by then I'll have everything I need to have (dance-wise) down (I'm a gimp- every new move takes me like a month to learn, lol).

Hey thanks chic! When I danced before my stage name was Angelicka.
The coordinator for the pagent is encouraging me to enter. He says there's lots of dancers who aren't features or even regular dancers who will be in it.
Dunno dunno....we shall see...

That is correct...you no longer need to be an established feature to enter contests!
The 2005 winner is a new feature. (less than 2 yrs)
The 2004 winner had been dancing less than a year
The 2002 winner was a new feature then (less than 2 yrs)
The 2001 winner was an established feature
The 2000 winner was an 8 month rookie
I was entered in the 2001, 6 of the girls who competed were table dancers, not features.
You never know till you try!

I think it's interesting to look at some girls' inherent dance abilities vs. others. Like there's 'new dancers' who have been dancing a little over a year and can dance like Cally...and then there are girls like me who've been dancing just as long and...can't do a pole trick to save her life.
If I ever entered I would only aspire to the natural boobs title. But I would not subject myself to that kind of competition! I would watch though.
I havnt even been dancing a year yet lol.. It will be a year the end of October..hehe... Molly you have a nice show. You may not have pole work but you have a very sensual stage show that makes a lot of people hot just to watch. You dont need pole work to have a good show.
Molly, I'm planning to go down to watch. If you want to come...

Wahoo im gonna have Molly and Jenny there to cheer me onThats going to be so distracting for me.. ya'll are gunna make me hornay!
You totally should. They'd probably make you have an ultrasound to prove that they're real, lol.If I ever entered I would only aspire to the natural boobs title. But I would not subject myself to that kind of competition! I would watch though.
I wish I could go watch with you guys.
I hope my posts aren't too discouraging, btw. I'm way too much of a realist sometimes.

LoL Scarlett your not discouraging.. you are realistic. Yea im getting in over my head doing this but im going to chalk it up to a learning experiance![]()

Whether youre in it to win or just to have a good time. Enjoy it! Show off the stuff you can do and you can always come back again the next year as well.
