    Default Billy's Boot Camp

    Hello ,

After much recomandation from some of you on here, I went out and bought the Billy Blank's Boot Camp DVDs.
OMG, it's hard! I only got about 1/2way into the first video today becouse my daughter was fussy, and I felt like I was gonna die. LOL, yea, I exzagerate - but it *is* really hard.
Question, those of you who do these workouts, did you follow the recommended diet that comes with the set?
And do you really start to notice improvement in 7 days?

I've got it and yes, it is a hard workout, especially the ULTIMATE BootCamp. I work out religiously in the gym and this workout makes me sore in places I never knew existed! LOL! I've only done the workout maybe 4 times and I think my tush does seem to be lifting a bit.

I'm going to give this a shot- I've been in boot camp before, but that was 5 years ago lol. The price of those dvds aren't cheap, even on ebay. Do you need to do alll three dvds together?

Nope. The Basic Bootcamp is just to get you familiar with everything and still provides a GREAT workout. The Ultimate Bootcamp is for the ADVANCED and in shape person. Like I mentioned, I workout ALOT and Ultimate bootcamp is still a challenge for me. You do LOTS of push ups and squats. You can do the workouts with or without the resistant bands.

Abs Bootcamp is a pretty good workout. I have done this on days that I go running or some other cardio.

I haven't done Ultimate Bootcamp in 3 days and my ass is still sore. And I do lots of lower body strength training in the gym. I think this workout is great to tone already formed muscle.

I was about to buy a Tae-Bo DVD and start using it at home. Do you need any accessories to go with this one? I'll buy the resistance bands but do I need anything else to get the most out of the workout?

And do you need a lot of room? My roommate's TV is in an area without a whole lot of space. Should I move it or is it the kind of workout you can do in a small area?

Billy Blanks Tae-Bo is different from Billy Blanks BootCamp. Bootcamp is the one with the resistance bands. And you do not need anything else to go with the workouts. Trust me, you won't want anything else anyway.

I use an area of about 90 sq feet (15 ft X 6ft) to do the workout. I have to push my sofa outta the way to make more space. But I think you can modify some of the exercises if space is a restriction. I would lay flat on the floor and make sure you have atleast 3 or 4 feet in each direction.
