I was wondering how all of you keep your hair looking good through out the night? Any tricks you recommend?

Do as little as possible to it to begin with. Just keep it healthy and conditioned, then once in a while run a brush through it. The less maintainence it needs, the better.

Collen is so right ! The less hair products and heat tools ( curling irons, flat iron etc) the better.

THANKS!!! I know I'm going to have a hell of a time with my hair. It's straight but it gets really frizzy and nasty throughout the night when I dance! I can't imagine it acting any better during me dancing at a sc!

Do you have naturally curly hair that you are straightening? If not and its getting frizzy just mix up a small spray bottle with some leave in conditioner and water and use it between changes. If it's naturally curly and you are going with that look, you can use some clear aloe vera gel and when it gets frizzy just rub some into your hands and then scrunch it up at the ends or softly finger fluff it with a dab of silkening product (lotion has about the same effect).

Biosilk is my best friend. Generic Biosilk from Sally's is my next best friend. My hair is naturally super frizzy (think Beyonce as Foxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers) and I flat iron mine. A little Biosilk goes a long way.

If you want to change it up and try a wavy look, put four braids in your hair after you've washed it and let them out when you get to work. Then, use some Biosilk to tame, spritz, and voila! You shouldn't have any frizz trouble for the night.

Use some kind of frizz serum before it dries..... and after I do it however I'm going to I use this finishing spray by Sexy Straight Hair....it makes your hair shiny and does something so that moisture cannot get to your hair and make it frizzy.....LOVE IT!!!!

Since my hair was very long then, i used to go to the back room and spritz water on it a bit, and flip my head and shake. Kinda fluffed it back again. Also would add a clip here and there if it became a pain in the ass.

Hair pinned (or tied) up in the back with the front hanging out is sexy! And a quick fix.

Definitely try the hair polishing/smoothing serum (you can get it at Sally's),it doesn't have any alcohol and gets your hair very shiny and healthy looking

There is one in particular that I LOVE. It is made for african-american hair but most curly girls (like me) feel like that's the texture they have, too. It comes in a clear blottle, smells like watermelon, and has a green lid. The bottle is shaped like a dildo. (BONUS!)

Also, if you are wearing it curly and it is getting too frizzy, try rolling it on hot rollers. DO NOT brush it at any point before or after the rollers, just put them in for about 15 mins, unroll, separate the curls and go. The heat will smooth the cuticle.
