Default bad 'omens' from the stars for this coming week ?

    Seismic Update from gmstechstreet.com

"... there's good reason to be cautious this month. We are now entering the TIME window that I stated was one of the most dangerous (IMO) for this year. MY WORK tells me that the next 2 weeks are the most dangerous not only globally, but for the U.S. (Especially California) as well. Given the number and clusters and signals, the time frame could stretch out into mid-November but I want to concentrate on the near-term for now.

We have a very close Perigee occuring today and an eclipse of the Moon on the 17th at which time VERY high tidal levels are projected to occur Oct 18-19 above the 7' level at the Golden Gate. Oct. 17th (1989) is the anniversary date of the Great World Series Quake in Northern California.

In reviewing "Lost Animals Reports" for No and So California, The San Francisco reports show only slightly higher than normal levels....Just before the Pakistan quake, there were reports of animals (mice, rats, dogs, cats, etc) running through the streets showing a great deal of disorientation. In talking to San Francisco Animal Control, they mentioned that it seemed as though there was an awful lot of reports coming in, especially from the Calif Highway Patrol, for assistance with "Road Kill". Perhaps that's a clue. Road Kill is not tallied and recorded unlike the number of "Missing Animals" ads running in the paper so, this is just another statistic that I'm throwing into the mix of this non-specific science.

The entire Pacific Ring of Fire, especially Japan should remain VERY active this month as well as the regions I mentioned before which included China, India, New Guinea, Phillipines, etc. with more problems continuing in Indonedia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Currently, there is only one Solar Wind Stream that was emitted from the Sun's Coronal holes which should be hitting the Earth starting today and running through tomorrow.

Infrasonic Reading and ULF spikes continue to shows high amplitude readings, especially for the East San Diego County area through the Inland Empire and southward into Mexicali and Baja.

Those monitoring the Radio Bands report signals received from all directions, espeically from the East and North. This are are nearly enough evidence to issue an 80% probability Alert for California of a 6+M quake so, we'll look for that report.

Thermographic readings which we've recently added to the tools we use show MEDIUM signals for San Francisco inland through Sacramento. There are Medium to high signals UNDERNEATH Tokyo today. The Australian / New Zealand areas that I mentioned before are showing Medium signals. Equador, Peru and the So America regions show what could be interpreted as either earthquake or volcanic activity. The Arabian Sea, California, and New Zealand as well as Japan all show, IMO, something thst resembles a clustering and "Coiling up" series of Hot Spots.

I have mentioned several times before that IMO, the Sumatra Quake was of such force that the entire core of the Earth became "Torqued" or twisted. If that event somehow "Buckled" many or any of the plates running from the Arabian Sea through the Pacific Ocean, an event occuring anywhere in the target areas could "Remote Trigger" events in the others areas. To me, the map looks like a giant Pinball Machine. That is NOT a doom and gloom "prediction" but should be construed as a warning to be PREPARED, just in case of any event of cause and effect outcome. There have been prime examples over that last several weeks and months of exactly how UNprepared we are for a disaster. And right now, we are so concerned with "Avian Flu" (Which is NOTHING but a bunch of GARBAGE and distortions and fear-mongering of something that has less than a 1% chance of happening)) that everyone's eye is off the ball.

I'll posting any further pertinant findings as we go along."

It'll be interesting to see if it pans out. I'll just note a few things:

An eclipse of the moon has to do with the earth occluding the moon from sunlight briefly. There's no gravitational influence on the earth because of an eclipse. In terms of electromagnetics, the earth is receiving the same amount, because solar emissions are still hitting it.

I don't know what he means by "torquing" the earth's core. The outer core is presumed liquid, the inner core solid, and the structure is spherical. The core does not allow transmission of shear waves. Compression waves are quite reduced in the outer core. Whatever "torquing" he's referring to would probably be negligible, especially as it hit the inner core. I think he'd get more mileage out of claiming shifting of tides in the mantle due to the earthquake.

The Sumatran quake was a 9-pointer. There were five 8.5-9.5 quakes in the 1960s alone. Definitely, the Sumatran quake was a biggie, a Top Ten event, but there have been worse.

The animal, EM, and ULF activity is interesting. He builds a stronger theoretical correlation with that. But respectfully, this guy is a stockbroker, not a geophysicist.

Avian flu is a fad disease right now. However, even at a .5% or 1% probability, even though it's not worth a panic button, it's worth following up. A flu mutation along the lines of the 1918 pandemic would be catastrophic, and this country doesn't need many more catastrophies after 9/11 and Katrina/Rita. Theoretically, if there's a 1% chance every year of a pandemic flu mutation happening, we're coming due for one. That's theory only, but like meteor strikes and that unlikelihood, the potential consequences beg for a study of prevention.

I find this quite intriguing....about 6 months ago I was discussing with some others (friends & the like) that one should look for a HUGE shift in the Pacific plate, I truly do not know an extensive amount about plate techtonics--but--Watching the 'scare' of Mt' St. Hellens and urruptions in Japan, Phillipines, the areas following the movement of such a plate (oh, yes and the smaller quakes felt earlier this year in Cali) ..that a "unofficial" shift prediction could result in more tsunamis, hurricanes and flooding as well as much volcanic and quake activity..I went online to find all the different plates (for I had to refresh myself, as I do now--again) but, was disturbed by a seemingly trackable pattern in the earths general unreast (non-human unrest), that could easily upset the delicate balance of multiple natural acts...interesting and scary.
