personally ive noticed that our club isnt making as much as previous years... this is the time of year it begins to pick up and it is getting worse! (my club is no dive either, its the best in the state i work) the situation seems just as bad all across the area... if you check every club they are reporting that it just isnt picking up from summer's slow season (topless), like it usually does.

Being most familiar with clubs in the Northeast, club business levels traditionally begin to decline soon after Labor Day - as the 'good weather' departs, vacations are over, and people start worrying about impending heating bills. At this point it's difficult to tell if an October decline is any worse than usual in the Northeast, probably because September business levels weren't all that great to start with. The REAL test will probably come in November, as customer 'discretionary spending' in clubs will have to compete head-on with heating bills arriving for payment plus holiday/Christmas shopping expenditures.

I haven't worked much since summer hit, and part of the reason I have continued to work less frequently, is that it seems to be slow picking up here. It HAS picked up, just doesn't seem to have picked up as much as I thought it would. Of course I've never worked here this time of year, so can't say if this is normal or not. Other girls are complaining but can't tell if it's due to being slower than normal for this time of year or just because girls are always complaining (I hear girls complaining even on the busiest nights and I'm making money).

I worked last night and had a decent night, on the low side of an average Saturday night in busy season for me. But there's a fair in town and mgmt said that usually takes customers away. It wasn't quite as packed as it could've been but we had alot of buyers through the door and I made money up until the last hour - and usually in the last hour I'm going strong.

I'm thinking here it doesn't get really good until the cold weather hits. That's when it seems to be busy ALL the time.
